Omg, Thank you Sandi, you made my day. I have been trying and wanting to make more videos, but something seems to come up and when I can I don't have the motivation to make the video. I have so many videos I need and want to do. I work full time from home, so that takes up part of my days. I hope and pray that you continue to recover and get well again. I do have a Facebook group called Nancy's Cottage Crafts. If you follow and become a member you can post pictures of what you made, so I can see them. I do live videos over there also. Take care, and thank you so much for commenting and giving me a lift day. Love and hugs. 💝🤗🙏🤗💖

I recently found ur channel… I was watching this video, I loved this bunny, plus other videos (like ur gnome pumpkin’s w/ fairy lights🥰). I don’t have a sewing machine, n it would probably take longer w/the hot glue gun…. But if I was to hand sew it…. Is there a stitch I should use to make it more secure? I’m from Elgin, TX…outside of Austin,TX.
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
You can do a running stitch or a back stitch.

I know right, on the snowman video I said they were $5 $6 but they're actually more like 10 $11 but yeah those buttons are very cute love you too later❤️

After all my talk about organization lately I’ve been misplacing everything! Lol I’m sure it’s just because I’ve had so much going on lately, and have been on the go. I don’t have anything to do for a while so hopefully I can get something made.

I know what you mean. I'm at my girlfriend's house this weekend Crafting and my son's bedroom where I've been storing some of my craft supplies is a total mess. ❤️

Things usually do get messy when we sew or craft. I know I’ll have my craft/sewing room looking so good, and it only takes making one thing to mess it all up. 😂
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
Right, when I'm done crafting for the night I try and put things away and straighten up, so when I come back to it the next day I'm not having to clean my mess up to start crafting❤️

I have trouble threading my needle sometimes too so I tried the needles that say you don’t have to really thread them because they have a slit at the top. They were of very poor quality, and a waste of money!
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
I have never tried those kind of needles thanks for the heads up. Now I won't buy them now that you've tried them❤️

Do you fish! I ask because of you knowing the surgeons knot. We use that a lot in fishing.
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
yes but that's not where I got it from my head seen somebody do that not on KZbin and I like the way that it was a good strong knot,❤️

I don’t know if you have room for one, but my husband bought me a rolling cart for crafts. I was thinking if I put all of the supplies I needed on it for whatever craft I’m working on at the time it’d save me from having to go look for them.
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
good idea and I don't have much space for a rolling cart I've thought about it though,,❤️
@barbaraness45072 жыл бұрын
@@NCottageDesigns I thought that you may not. I’ll let you know if I come up with anything to help us organize, or keep track of our stuff. Actually my husband suggested that I get a notebook to write the location of where I put things. I know that My biggest problem is I just have too much stuff. I probably have enough supplies to make things for 3 years!

I have pin cushions, but I also have a magnetic metal dish that I use for pins. I originally bout the magnetic bowls for screws for my husband.
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
I have a wooden bowl that I made into a pincushion and I use that for my needles I must have like 25 needles in there different sizes and thicknesses and then I use a bowl it's actually I think like a little plastic bowl that I got from the Dollar Tree that's for your pets for like food or water and it does it has like a rubber bottom so it doesn't slide but it's not magnetic but I use that for my pins works good,,❤️
@barbaraness45072 жыл бұрын
Yes, you mentioned the prefilled bobbins, and I believe you mentioned using the correct size of needle. I don’t know about you, but I see better when I’m in the mood. If I have to sew something while I’ve been working on other crafts it won’t turn out as well.
@NCottageDesigns2 жыл бұрын
yep I found that out too I've been up late crafting at night and falling asleep as I'm just sitting there and then the next day I look at stuff and it's like yeah what the hell was I doing when I was making this in the middle of the night,,❤️
@barbaraness45072 жыл бұрын
I have to say that your different things that you make are more unique, and made better than the ones I’ve seen on other videos.
