Ti-nspire to me is not intuitive at all. I found you have to memorize the menu system. I bought a TI-Nspire used on Ebay because it was cheap and it looked cool. I wanted to use it to solve some electronics engineering equations that I use often. I found the TI-Nspire user interface totally frustrating to use. Thanks for your very informative video.

I can’t charge my nspire it’s only showing 0%. If I unplug it, it turn off. Does anyone know how to fix this.

You can enter phasors better in casio calculators which is good for engineering students (⦣) where as ti-84 calculator can kind of do it but not as fast as the casio calculator

I could be wrong, but I believe it is a Samsung S3 cell phone battery. Third party versions are easily found on Amazon.
@billhennessy51183 ай бұрын
@@kemalnottaturk2500 Yes, you are right, but none of the battery stores (Like Batteries Plus) carry them. They are hard to find on line also. I had to get one from China and it took a month to get it.

TI fanboys seriously need to research the difference between 'Best' and 'Famous'. The TI calculators are not best they are just famous due to years of enforcement in classrooms and education resources exclusively for TI calculators. Function and money wise, Texas Instruments is ripping everyone off compared to other brands.

0:22 "Despite 8 years gap between release of these calculators not much have changed" That sentence explains TI's consumer service perfectly.

This guy is being overly critical of the TI-30XiiS. It has been around for quite a few years. It doesn’t have all the whistles and bells that the newer machines have. However, it is reliable and easy to use. And if you actually know how to do the math, this calculator will actually serve you well. Until about the early-mid 1970’s, engineers didn’t even have this available to them. They used slide-rules.

7:33 The Ti result is better. It shows a properly rounded result. I computed the result with 150 digits in the intermediate calculations m@fedora:~$ cat 1.py from mpmath import mp mp.dps = 150 # Set precision to 150 digits value = mp.mpf(0) for x in range(1, 60001): value += (mp.mpf(1) + mp.mpf(2) / mp.mpf(10000)) ** mp.mpf(x) / mp.mpf(x) print(round(value, 10)) m@fedora:~$ python3 1.py 14953.1402009668 The last digit of the HP result is wrong: 14953.1401999 TI shows less digits, but the result is properly rounded: 14953.140201

Can you must type "sin (" instead of going through the menu? Seems like a faster option.
@saujanyapoudel89104 ай бұрын
5:00 the TI menu covering the entire screen shows you more of *'What you can possibly do'* with the numbers on screen and less of 'What you're currently doing' with the numbers on the screen. Imagine doing rush calculations during an exam. With the CG50 you have advantage of seeing if what you're inputting is going correctly without needing to switch between screens

4:34 did you notice how they gave out different answers? It is because you didn't put parentheses around x²+13 therefore the gii interpeted it as x²+13/2 rather than (x²+13)/2. This is why I hate using single line display on a calculator.
@thomashart50814 ай бұрын
The cord for the fx-CG50 is specifically for updating the firmware or installing new maths programs and saving your maths to pc it has nothing to do with charging batteries. You can use rechargeable batteries but need to charge them on an external battery charger.

I learned how to use this starting in middle school. I tried the newer Multi View calculator and still ended up going back to the trusty TI30XiiS
