Good size plot of land. The house I bought just outside of Pattaya for 7m is a higher spec but only 320sqm of land, it does have a pool though and is 15 minutes drive to jomtien beach. Not much to tempt me back to Isaan after going to Kalasin for 5 days a few months ago……. I didn’t leave the uk to live in the middle of nowhere. It was either by the sea or no where and I find anywhere outside of the big cities a bit too remote and away from creature comforts and an abundance of western food……. but that’s just my personal choice as I’m in my forties and have different tastes than most 😁

Udon Thani, where we live and Korat, where John lives are within minutes of those respective cities. Wouldn't want to live in the tourist parts of Thailand, but that being said, we can spend $50 whenever we want and get to the beach in a short space of time.

Brave boys to take on a Thai and her family. Too right I'm scared of selling my gafs in the UK. Then jumping head first into Thailand. I've read far too MANY horror stories of Isaan ladies who play the long game and take the lot and sling you out. You get utterly rinsed. This guy has been with his girl for 17 years so seems to have found that unicorn. For the record, I live in Thailand from London and feel that women here have gotten much worse. Social media and web dating is a disaster when incorporated into Thai culture.

This guy was clever he let her pay for the house. so he has nothing to lose if she does kick him out one day. Its the ones who are stupid that get caught out.
@shabbos-goy940716 сағат бұрын
@@galdessa1 The risk is simply too high. There is absolutely no need to marry. There are thousands of vids on YT both in the West and LOS where the guy has been absolutely destroyed. Some unfortunately, when the long firm “mission is complete” go for a little flying lesson which he didn’t book. Now I hate to generalise but Issan and Farang are like salmon and cream cheese. But can be oil and water. Basically we have a clash of civilisation and culture. High trust vs low trust and a survival mechanism that an obese farang with a couple of hundred grand sterling does not compute until he is destitute because “his one is different” My pal is with wealthy middle class Thai girl from BKK whose family are successful. Light years away from an Isaan Pattaya bar girl. These classy educated hi-so BKK girls won’t get involved with Farang for obvious reasons. Have you seen your average white guy in Pattaya?!! I don’t blame them!

Fasting is fantastic but two or three days do not much as the body is using reserves for the first three days. Usually reserves from muscles and liver is used for those three days. Truly the miracle starts after day nine. Also drinking tea or coffee is probably ok but what you really need is electrolytes. Some spas in Thailand offer broth long cooked from vegetables only, the broth gives electrolytes and some minerals. Good fast is minimum 14 days, better fast is 21 to 28 days, the true repair are happening in the body, just need to be careful with heavy metals which are freed from fat cells, coffee enema helps and bentonite clay in a drink. Also to not feel hungry five times a day drink 1.5 spoon of psyllium husk in a glass of water. Good luck.

Many different variants on this Mark, but Pook and I have experienced enormous benefits just from the daily 16 hour fast. Longer fast just add to those benefits.

YES - you are absolutely right if the people that would come over here will/ would have a source of income from the west. to earn money here - and I think I know about this - is another and complete different thing. Much more difficult than in England or Germany or so. For pensioners - paradise! I totally agree. Really enjoy your vlogs and started watching you two 4 years ago as we travel to Thailand every winter and like to see what’s happening…Anyway, lockdown was a kick in the arse but we started watching loads of different Thailand vloggers, but we like you two.
