Cats are fine in tiny spaces!!! I travel the world with my cat and she’s completely happy even in a hotel room. As long as she has everything she needs and lots of toys to interact with and her scratch post she is quite happy. Plus love and attention. She doesn’t want to go outside. Not all pets are the same just as not all people are the same. If you’re a good cat mom then the living situation doesn’t matter. The people complaining have either never had a cat or they have never lived in a small space with their cat to test it out. :) Ignore the haters - 75% of the internet loves to hate on anyone for any little thing. 😅❤

You did such a great job making a beautiful, open, comfortable home. This is one of the smaller spaces that I've seen but you don't feel cramped at all. Absolute decor/organizing genius!

小空間佈局設計不錯 需求物品少(蠻棒的) 電器與傢具選擇也剛剛好 這樣的配置蠻喜歡的 如果再配合一點收納藝術 能再釋放留白的空間 會更好

I saw your Chanukkah menorah. It must be interesting to celebrate Channukah in China. If you put the candles in the window, I'll bet you get a lot of people asking you about it.

It is! Luckily I have a synagogue here and a small community to celebrate with, and no one has mentioned it, but back in this house I lived at the very end of the alley, so almost no one went by my house

@@ailianr Are those in your little synagogue western born, or Chinese born? I've heard there's a Jewish, Chinese born community in China but I don't know much about it. I know some Jews escaped they Holocaust through China.

1. How do the cookies end up tasting with the materials you can get there? 2. Can you do a shopping haul video in the supermarket with how much everything costs in Beijing? Thanks
@ailianr
@ailianr Ай бұрын
1. I didn't really like the cookies I made in this video because they were too crispy, but my friends liked them for that reason lol, but usually you can buy all the normal ingredients to make cookies, it's just that the store near my house wasn't selling normal sized butter :,( (idk why, most big stores do) 2. I will put that on my video idea list! Thanks for the recommendation :)

Heya, thanks for the video! One thing I'm unsure about and haven't been able to find a video that answers this specifically: once you start renting are you liable to replace every broken appliance from now on or is the landlord supposed to replace them? I'm assuming that other essential repairs such as basins, sinks, baths, pipes and drains, heating, ventilation and electrical wiring are also the landlord's responsibility?
@ailianr
@ailianr 2 ай бұрын
Honestly I'm not sure because I haven't dealt with that before, but I would probably contact the landlord if it's not my property (if the apartment comes with a fridge or microwave for example). Usually if its deemed the fault of the tenant, then the landlord probably won't pay. Last year the handle on my front door came loose and while I think the replacement should've been paid for by the landlord, we ended up paying for it (though I didn't put up a fight because it wasn't too expensive and I didn't want to damage our relationship with the landlord).
@Electropath
@Electropath 2 ай бұрын
@ailianr ah yeah, I understand. As long as the small appliances and such don't cost much, I totally get not making it a big deal with the landlord. Thanks for the reply! Thanks to your video and a couple others I found, I feel a lot more informed for when I'd like to move to china in the future :) the only thing that still scares me would be the contract, but I assume there'd be English speaking lawyers in the big cities who could help make sure I know what I'm signing and that extra demands can be put in writing. Definitely need to find one of those wechat groups of expats living in the city I'm interested in for that (probably Shenzhen) other expats in the area would probably know of English speaking agents, lawyers, etc.

Wich best university for become actress in china
@ailianr
@ailianr 2 ай бұрын
The top 3 schools for acting/drama courses are Beijing Film Academy, Central Academy of Drama, and Shanghai Theatre Academy. BFA is focuses on film (though they have stage theatre courses as well), whereas the other two focus on stage/theatre. Acting is extremely difficult to get into in China, especially as a foreigner, not only because of language, but also because there is not a very big market for foreign actors in China. So if you want to try studying acting, I would recommend considering other majors to apply for in case acting doesn't work out (I've also seen people who don't major in acting still get opportunities to act in student productions, I have acted in 2 short films myself, and there are some famous actors in China who studied non-acting majors at these schools). At the very least I would recommend applying to multiple schools (not only top ones, but also less competitive options too). Keep in mind that the exam process itself can be very long and intense. Some other colleges include Communications University of China, National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts, Nanjing Arts Institute, Meishi Film Academy, and Communication University of Zhejiang.

Yes! Sorry for the late reply, the realtor company was called YouShuDiChan 友墅地产, but they are only in Huairou. I would only suggest living in Huairou if your school/job is here, there is very little public transport and getting into the city is difficult. If you are anywhere with a subway line, you will probably not find anything for this price, unless you are renting a shared apartment or maybe if it's on the very end of a long subway line.

I really like it here, it's a small school so we get a lot of support from teachers and it's easy to get to know most of the other foreign students, there's a lot of time spent outside of the classroom working on projects with other students. I've run into a few celebrities around campus, but for the most part they don't usually work with other students on projects (and the really famous ones don't always come to school). Also I was actually already a BFA student when I was in Japan, I was just doing a language course there because that's where my boyfriend was living, and I was taking a break from BFA until China opened back up.
