That is a easy fix. All it needs is to resolder all the points where is cracked just a bit of flux solder and you are good. Do stuff like this all the time. Learned how to solder in middle school when i was about 14

I had the exact same problem with the relay box in my '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Only it was the A/C relay in mine.

They did that to me with a " low mileage engine" switched when delivered had bad cam . Many are shysters .

Thats 100% burning oil.... the 8.1s high mileage units have an issue with valve guides.. but its a big block anyways sooooo. 😅

Mine with a similar cam and rocker setup had ok cams. But numerous rockers were losing needle rollers. I really believe they should have slipper pads like they use on Japanese bike engines.

Had a 2014 T&C, 3000 mile oil change everytime. Took care of and babied that thing. I honestly don't think it could have been any better maintained. Rockers chewed up the lobes on two of the cams at 70k. Got new cams all new rockers. Mechanic was listening to it run making sure everything was good and heard a different noise. Cracked flex plate. Chrysler is junk.

I just did this job. Took the cams up but left the phasers in situ. Cams ok one roller bad. All new rollers and lash adjusters.

So common half of them received a lifetime power train warranty. 😂😂 probably less. However I only know as I got paid 3.3 hours flat rate to repair them ???? Ya I left that dealership 🔧🛠️🔧🛠️🔧😘🔧🛠️
