One of the best tips for welding nuts to snapped bolts is washers. Weld a washer to the broken stud and then weld the nut, over all you get more heat,penetration and weld length, works so well!

People may shit on them, but I had great luck with my Triton 10. The heads & manifolds were held on with helicoils after the first teardown, but I got 360,000 miles out of it, & she still ran fine when I sold it. Had nearly 300k on a Triton 8 before that too. Both were mostly highway miles though.

I’ve only done one v10 and shop owner said got a trick. Cold truck - put the rose bud tip on torch- heat each nut and quarter inch air gun on mid setting- heat to glow- hit with gun back and forth. Couldn’t believe it but he got all out but one without breaking.

Mike that is great advice to weld a nut on top of stud bolt to remove it and be careful of racoon eyes wearing sunglasses.😊
