People say we can't see the future-Law 29 proved otherwise. He who sees events unfolding days ahead, in essence, is seeing the future.

In one sentence you say he had a lucrative business in manhattan and in the next you say he was giving a menial job. Make up your mind. Lol

why Americans don't pronounce "e" at the end of a last name? it's italian last name. pronounce it correctly. Corleone, not Corleon Stallone, not Stallon

I think in Tessio and Clemenzas mind they figured Vitos significant power rule was coming to an end With the new drug business taking over and Barzinis people now ruling the streets Vito was on his way out… As much as the two men loved Vito and had an unparalleled dedication to the Don … the same couldn’t be said for his upstart son who in their eyes was still the little weakling that got punched in the face (What? 😫 Are you seriously gonna put him in charge?!!!) Even though he did earn some street cred with his assassination of the cop and the Turk The two men figured they were going to be taken over by the more powerful Barzini eventually 😮….

Another example of talent Clemenza helped sniff out was Al Neri in the book, seeing the makings of a new Luca Brasi in him.

But wouldn't Michael have needed to have the approval of the Commission to pull the whole thing off? If he didn't have it, wouldn't he have been the next victim? He must've had their approval, or it would've been a very short series of films. You do NOT hit other Dons or ANY made man without approval. That's been stated so many times it should be obvious to everybody. So he almost certainly had approval from higher up...

Turns out Tessio was really Phil Fish, a detective deep undercover from the NYPD. When 'Tessio' is driven off, he's actually dropped near the precinct to report back to Captain Barney Miller.

I watched this movie a couple of times when I was younger but the plot is incomprehensible to me. I just don't get these people's behaviour.
