I think the food Adam is referring to are called the Pepper Buns（胡椒餅）which is different from what you had, which are called Steam-Fried Buns (水煎包）

Summers in Taiwan are very hot. Taiwan only has summer and winter, and due to the humidity, the temperature feels even higher. Please drink plenty of water and try to avoid being outdoors between 10 AM and 3 PM to prevent heatstroke. You can take breaks in malls, department stores, or train stations. 夏天來台灣很熱～～～ 台灣只有夏天和冬天，因為潮濕的關係，所以溫度會多更多．．．． 請多喝水，並且儘量少在上午１０點～下午３點在戶外曝曬，會容易中暑．．． 可以多去商場百貨或是節俊車站休息．

The reason why you are the only family playing the slides is exactly the high temperature. Locals only do that in the late afternoon when it gets cooler. Here we arrange our activities pretty much to the weather.

If you have a chance, you guys should try the foot massages which Taiwan is pretty famous for.

Depends on what you want to get out of Taiwan, different seasons offer a vastly different experience. Spring and fall are more pleasant temperature wise but not as many fruits are in season. Summer offers the most variety of fruits but it’s obviously that it will be hot and moist.

It's wild to see someone travel this place since I spent millions of dollars to escape from this ridiculous country to Los Angeles six years ago. The government of this place doing nothing but brianwash and manipulate people, rude people everywhere, nothing positive there literally, After i moved to LA, for the first time in my life realized what's freedom all about, I found myself confident, everyone treated me super nicely. I'm working on becoming us citizen now, and i swear to god I will never ever never ever go back to the place that be filed with negativity agian.

Honestly, you westerners should never visit us during June to November. Because even Taiwanese doesn’t wanna be out door if it isn’t necessary 😅. Some say Taiwan is not a pedestrian-friendly, why? Because almost no one wanna be pedestrian in this kind of 90-90 environment.😅we ride scooters instead. Btw, as for another half “better” year it rain almost all the time in North Taiwan.😅
