Its not easy to travel with kids but you both managing it very well. Philippines may not be that perfect and not okay for all visitors but have fun, there are lots of in the Philippines that you van enjoy and check out while you guys are there. Along the way maybe you encounter some people who aren't nice with the foreigners and see them with a big dollar sign on their head but theres a way to deal with them and you guys are doing very well with that too. If you are foodies, check out Cargo Fish on the top floor of Uptown Mall - its tucked away on the RHS has one comes off the escalators. The food there is absolutely fab and pretty much the only place in Manila that as cod and malt vinegar. Also, Swaadisht in Uptown Mall is really good too any comes highly recommended also and is a real change from the over sweetened Fiipino food.
