I carry a Walther pdp compact 5 inch as my edc. Second favorite stock trigger in a striker fire. The canik triggers are better by a small margin. But the pdp is hands down my favorite pistol to shoot

Thanks for your post. I'm carrying my Taurus G3C today and have been carrying G-Series pistols since 2015. They have never let me down. I also carry S&W M&P pistols, Ruger Pistols, FN Herstal firearms, Colt and Bersa handguns.

Good concealed carry option for spring and summer! Definitely good for other “carry” situations, have mine in a drawer for a bump in the night.

I bought the 43 for my wife and she was ok with it but just did not seem comfortable with it. So I bought the 42 and suddenly she was good. Idk if it was just the small difference in size or recoil or both but she now carries the 42 everywhere and shoots it more than me!! Its not a bad gun and I'd carry it if I had to deep conceal. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

My two carry guns are a Canik Elite Combat and a Walther full size PDP 5 inch. I ever so slightly prefer the Canik. The trigger break is just a touch crisper. My wife has a Canik TP9 Elite SC. Then I got her the Walther PDP F. She prefers the Walther’s grip better. The couple that trains, shoots and carry’s together…..are much safer. 😎👍🏻

I do carry the 42 on occasion because it is so comfortable, but I carry my Springfield Hellcat 9mm most of the time. With the 11+1 mag in the Hellcat, it is the same size as the 42, only thicker and heavier. The Hellcat is also the same size as the Glock 43 when using the 11 round magazine in it, but slightly heavier because of the higher mag capacity, which is well worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love my Glocks, I have the 42 and a G45 MOS... The 42 is an accurate, smooth shooting, reliable gun, actually a lot of fun to shoot and eats anything you put through it, just like a Glock. Loaded with Underwood Extreme Penetrator +P .380 ammo, I think the 6+1would be more than adequate in an unexpected, close quarters, self defense situation. I do have 2 of the ProMag extended 10 round magazines for the 42. Both the gun and one of the 10 round mags in Sticky Holster and Sticky Mag Pouch conceal really well iwb.

Hey bro, I feel that the G42 is good for an ankle holster back up to compliment the G19.

Not anymore, Glock needs to redesign it so it holds 10 rounds flat base and 12 rounds extended base with tritium night sights standard. I have one and put +2 extensions on the magazines and added aftermarket tritium night sights. I'm not getting rid of mine after I fixed it up some, but if I was looking for a pocket pistol today I would get the Ruger LCP Max compared to the current G42 as is.

What you are calling a spongy trigger is actually an intentional design Taurus calls a 2 stage trigger. Taurus has video up on KZbin that fully explains the trigger and it's designed purpose.

I have a +2 on my mag and it works great. Can't really pocket carry with the extension but it's easy to hide iwb. About the same size as a 43X. Good video👍

I use the 42 as a pocket carry and for IWB I have a Sig p365X.

I prefer my G42 for pocket carry.

I love my G42. I carry it as my EDC more than my 48. People knock the .380 round but the body has a lot of soft tissue and that round has put many people in the ground. Its all about shot placement and not so much the round. I can live with the 6 round magazine. A fire fight is almost like winning the lotto. All it takes is just 1. One dollar to buy a winning a ticket and 1 good placed shot to end a threat. Im going to dinner or my mail box or hiking. Im not going to war. Dont care for 15 plus round mags plus an additional mag on my person and a back up gun on my ankle.The 42 is meant to keep it simple and concealable. Gets the job done.

So many people I know always go back to the Glock 42 it's just the great small little pocket gun much better than anything else out there very easy to use and take apart this video shows you everything about them just wonderful 🇱🇻🇺🇲💯👍
