the nametag race game is a brand of Running Man, the show Jee Seokjin has been in for a long time. In their earlier days, they used to play it in every ep, not much nowadays as all the cast has gotten older. Back then, they play this game very dramatically, it's a different feel than this Run Jin ep

running man is named running man after this name tag game lol. they change the rules up a bit, but ripping the name tags off was the OG premise for the show, and it's all they played for the first few seasons. they actually stopped playing it so often bc it was really hard on the reoccurring casts' bodies. some members had to quit the show bc they got injured from the game, that's why ji seokjin is very mindful of that when playing. it's what made running man so popular, besides the great cast of course. there's a famous clip of kim jongkook keeping four ppl at once from ripping off his nametag while he is going up an escalator, and they didn't manage to take it off lol. jin is definitely in his classic variety show era with run jin. with him doing dangerous invitation, running man, and next week definitely looks like an homage to Family Outing, he's hitting all the classic well known variety shows. the acupuncture mat chicken fight game and the tennis board flip are also classic variety show games of the early 00s. it's so fun to watch as someone whose familiar with these games, and it's great to see ppl who are new to it react to it like you guys.

Bingsu is AMAZING I have to travel to another state to get it but it's worth it. It's suuuper smooth shaved ice, like snow texture, mixed with ice cream and they put one fruit syrup and the rest all real fruit that juices flavor the ice. Best frozen treat in creation. I think the watermelon is the syrup they used and looks like those scooped balls of melon, and the cake flavor must be the ice cream flavor. Steph, you'd love bingsu. Just get a mango berry one if you dont like watermelon 🥰 Edit: I was so focused on the bingsu, i didn’t see he also had cheesecake lol so 😅 nevermind about the cheesecake ice cream. But the rest should be accurate

i always have to use some word clues to guess what korean food they’re talking about. for example: guk is broth or soup, tteok is usually something with rice cakes, bal is some type of animal feet (jokbal is pigs feet), bap is rice, gim is seaweed, jigae is stew etc.
