And this is why new home constructions look like total shyiet. Nobody in the trades has any pride in their work anymore. Its all about doing it as fast and cheap as possible just to make the contractor owners rich at the expense of the homeowner.

I am an electraion, why in an American way you don't pass the wires in to pipes, in case you want to add more wires in future, like in my country

I would have made it look a little more professional. Make the red go to the red and the black to the black. It just looks neater.

I thought all outlets must be wired with 12/2, not 14/2. I also thought you should keep your lighting circuits separate from your outlet circuits through separate home runs.

"If you're new to this you might need a level." That statement alone would be enough for me not to hire him.

putting all this on one circuit is crazy imo. clean work but a dedicated circuit for each bedroom and lighting would be ideal

It's a D.R. Horton house. Everything will fall apart in a year so all this work is really for nothing.

@normanbenjamin97393 ай бұрын
I have watched the whole video , Now could you please tell me what was the Hard work ? was it when you climbed up the Ladder or when you pulled the wire of the spool ! . Ok we didn't see it , it was when you took the spool wire out of your truck and put it the Garage! Yeah that must of been hard work , what do you compare your hard work to ?

Can someone elaborate on why he notched out under the bar where the granite counter is. If the counter is thick, wouldn’t you want the plug further away?

When we have to use two ground rods outside from the ground wire, do you come in to the service panel first then come back to the meter?

As a retired master (commercial-institutional) electrician:: wear a helmet; wear PPE -- stay with a (light) 6-foot ladder -- for this type of structure you're in. Save your knees, etc., mine are shot. I've roped in miles of cable. (MC for the most part.) One fine day, you're going to fall off that shorty. It's a career ending event. That NM-B sure is slick to run. The small HVAC tube may be for 'high pressure' AC. It's seen all over in retro-fit. Watch This Old House for why. The dangling end cables would fail inspection, here, in California. (EUSERC country) I always had to set metallic boxes -- during the rough-in --- and place 3/0 mud rings -- 3/4" yet 5/8" dry wall. Etc. Our blocking ( f/lights...) had to be sheet steel. (tin) We had to move the hole to get the vanity lights dead-nuts on the plans. A lot of the cable runs you think are dicey is actually per Code. The structure is considered support -- all by itself. This saves TONS of time. Your working theory is excellent. BE repetitive. My work triggered "drive-by" inspections -- all the time. I was kept as the last inspection for the day/week.
