Waiting on Ten, we have been watching on Google Class room, very good, despite a couple of sound issues, I loved the Don't Stand on the top of the Ladder, it made an Excellent Safety Discussion topic for the Electrical Class. The Length of the video's are perfect. The Trade Tips Are Wonderful.

You don't have to explain, you've done a great job telling us the basics and you know what you're Inspector expects. You're just sticking wires through holes so ignore the people who don't understand IT'S NOT YOUR STATE so slight differences and some may seem very different.

The point and purpose of inspection is not to make your job hard but to make the house a safe habitable space to live in.

I found your videos while doing research for wiring my own garage with apartment project . I’m doing owner build so I’ll be wiring myself. I have a strong electrical knowledge but not the experience wiring. I work for a utility and NESC as opposed to NEC. Your videos are really a huge help with how to go about the process. Any ETA on continuing the rough in? I’m really interested in the arc protection and gfci protection. My permit is 2017 NEC code requirements.

Hey really great videos...I've learned a Ton!!! Your wire management/placement in boxes will save tons of time. I also liked the hammer height for boxes. Then with how you do your home runs then power feeds then switch loops it makes so much sense. I Also appreciated the block out work on the switch boxes. Some of the details I don't quite grasp are: How you know where to drill your holes when your drilling (some are obvious) but what about in top plates, corner walls.. And how do you figure out how many holes to bore at locations where you put in more than one? Lastly what if u have a hard nut inspector about # of wires in each opening in switch boxes how do you do your wire placement/mgt then so u know whats what? I know u must be crazy busy so if u do t get a chance to answer not a problem. Thanks again for the great training and awesome videos you and your wife/girlfriend are doing. Great job....to both of you. Jim Adams

Agreed. Some jobs (high end and t&m we are super neat) but spec homes are not perfect, if there are a few twists in the wire not a big deal. In the end sheet rock goes up, the walls are not made of glass, and the world is good!
@michaelbongiovi1113 жыл бұрын
Within this series on house wiring, you mentioned doing more videos in the future on specific topics related to this subject, such as a more detailed look at 3-way wiring, for instance. But you stopped after episode 9. Are you done making videos?

100% is what’s it’s about. Unfortunately we don’t get employee of the month or a pay on the back for doing an excellent job. We work based off the pay and if you wanna be cheap with the pay. Best believe I’m in and out. If you want near work you have to pay for the extra effort it takes to make it neat

@livefastsk8faster3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was gonna say, your wires are zig zagging over the joists instead of running parallel to the joist and runners but I mean it saves on wire I’m guessing, there’s no future osb being place up there in the future or no reason for any trade to be up there.

Code is minimum. I completely understand ya got to get them done but you are not cutting corners you are passing inspections. I see people with all there look how neat the wires are run especially videos....... in a panel that gets a covered. I see it as a waste of time. Now I am not saying be a mess but time is money.
