I know the video is old but it really helped me. Thank you so much. I've been struggling with making the right pattern and it turns out it was the rings facing wrong direction all the time xdd

Took me two days to figure out how to finish this because the end of the video is so hard to follow. You did no explaining other then "weave them like so" and did the worst job of showing how to do it. Your hands are shakey, blocking the shot, and you move the piece off camera. You do this part too fast and don't give a good view of what's happening. Luckily I figured out my own way of finishing the piece.

This was very helpfull. You didn't go to fast and didn't overexplain. The two different colors of the rings were a great idea for visualising it. Also, I hope this doesn't sound crazy, but I think you have a voice that is very nice listening to as well and that helps me a lot personally... Thumbs up👍 Hat mir gefallen 😉

I know how to do it now I made a multi-color byzantine bracelet. It turned out really nice. I have a problem when I use medal rings it turns out looser for some reason.

I am in the process of making a digital brush using the 4-1 chainmail. Having seen quite a few chainmail photos I was confident to make the brush. Having now watched your video a few times and actually seeing constructing the chainmail, I'm in a better position to make the digital brush. Many thanks for making and sharing this video. 👍👍👍

I've been interested in trying this for a long time, but the chips being discarded bother me. Where can you work and keep those tiny razors controlled and easy to clean up? There must be some heavy tarp or plastic to catch the debris. I'm also curious about what you do with me larger flakes that could be made Into other points. Seems like a waste of potential objects to just throw them away.

Late to the party, but great design and video - I've made a few of these for friends and family. One variation I've made is to move the clasp location - only 4-5" on the dominant hand side while the other side wraps behind the neck, so you can easily flip up the collar and clasp in front of a mirror. So you don't have to clasp blindly/by feel behind the neck.

So, thats cool, but in the end you leave those rings open? Guess its just jewlery, won't be pulling anything with that chain, just a little weird for a durability aspect.

What are the ring measurements in mm? According to google: Quarter of an inch = 6,35mm (Outer or inner diameter?) 16 gauge = 1,2mm Has someone tried this with these? Does it work well?

I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. kzbin.infoUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...
