Oh man, I love this game. Remember sitting down for the first time as a 10 yr old and turning it on for the first time. Played all day. By that evening, I had conquered the game. One of my favorite NES memories.

Cyberpunk? No. This might just be the original HFY. No wonder I love the genre so much, I grew up playing this game off and on tell the psx came out.

This shouldn't be too big for the NES. Memory is way cheaper today, and maybe some of the graphics just need a little adjustment. All the sounds and animations in the game you could hear and see in this video could definitely be played by an NES. I think it's juse about doing the job. But I'd definitely buy a real NES cassette with this!

This game and its sequel "Zero Tolerance: Undergound" got recently official physical release on Evercade as part of "Piko Interactive Collection" cartridges. They are surprisingly good, considering their technical limitations. The guns are very satisfying to shoot thanks to the sound effects and visual impact. The enemies really react to sounds, which you can use to your advantage - you set up a mine and then make a lot of noise with a grenade to attract them into your trap. Pretty sophisticated for a 16-bit raycaster shooter.

Lol bit late here but think you way harsh on this. The bad guys do not insta kill you neither do the turrets. There is a bit of back tracking but no where near as bad as you say. There are no blinds leaps of faith as you can hang down off the ledge your standig on.

I remember that Ultra Duster brand of compressed air here in Wisconsin.. now you can't find it anywhere. Walmart tries to take over with their crappy Onn brand, but I stocked up on the electronic duster brand that used to be cheap (2 packs for $8.88 but after I bought it all every restock during covid they upped the price to $12.64 for 2 pack), so I have about 20 packs in my basement, half old price half new price.

My best friend in 3rd grade and I absolutely beat ET, his mom got it for him for Christmas and we didnt have the heart to tell her it sucked, so we plugged away at it until we could beat it every time. Without the manual you were pretty much hosed, though. Cryptic AF.

ik its been 5 years but as a guy who beat tyson a few days ago for the first time, heres some tips: 1: You CAN punch twice when you dodge his first attacks, just be VERY quick and prepared for when he blocks one, because he will sometimes. 2: He will do those invicible uppercuts for 1:30. after that, look at his eyes and wait for him to wink, then dodge. these are easy as hell, as long as you dont get distracted. 3: DO NOT, AND I SAY THIS WITH THE DEMEANOR OF A COWARD, *DO NOT* DODGE EARLY. you WAIT for the BLUE FLASH, and THEN you dodge. you are afraid of having to do the whole thing again, its understandable. but if you fuck up a dodge, you arent gonna get the chance to dodge again. so WAIT. 4: the third round is hell encarnate, if you're playing on a modern monitor like i am, and you cant use an old TV, good fucking luck dodging the 1 frame punches. you HAVE to tank them, so try to end it, or get close to ending it, on round 2. 5: round 2 always starts with 8 (maybe 10 i dont remember) 1 frame punches, these are predictable. prepare to die the first time you beat that first round, and use that death to figure out the timing. 6: above all else, keep going. it took me a month to beat mike tyson out of the 2 months i spent playing the game on and off. even the worst gamer can do it as long as they dont give up. This game is a miracle, technically speaking. The basis of its existence is that it's essentially an advertisement for the comic series upon which it's based. The game isn't that hard in theory, it's just that the game's credits indicate that besides the artists (and comic creators), there were only a small handful of people working on this. The game was essentially made by someone who was just there to make it look cool, and they certainly succeeded, but at the cost of the game itself being... not so great. The character's creator just had a passion for Chakan that he expressed in whatever way he could.

I always wanted Superman when I was a kid, but never got around to getting it. When I decided to add and rebuild Atari to my game collection, I made it a priority to include it once I regained all the games I originally had. I ended up getting a pretty sweet deal on a complete Special Edition variant of the game. Yeah, the game didn’t age well, but it’s still fun and was pretty innovative for its time, much like Adventure was.

DUDE. Got Faxanadu when I was 9, just a random game my aunt bought cuz she didn't know shit. Love this game. Beat it back then, after literally 6 months on and off with it. Farming the jumpers for 3 hours straight at the start of the game to buy the Death Magic was the way to go LOL

My brother and I used to rent this game from a rinky-dink video store called "The Entertainer" that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. That was 25 years ago when smoking indoors was still okay. We LOVED this game and still talk about it today
