It was apparent that DOT Officer was out to set a quota and to get more money than was legal. He intentionally blocked paperwork that from you and your camera because it is beneficial to you and this case. You were correct to request a re-scale, but you should also have requested to see each of the scale calibration certificates. A side note: there should be a small red and white sticker with a calibration certification date and time on it that is required to be placed on each calibrated piece of equipment. If the equipment has not been calibrated within one year then it it “Out of Calibration” and cannot be used…which can get the ticket thrown out of court. After all how would one know if the scale is weighing correctly, over, or under; especially when a portable scale gets moved, dropped, and frequently “banged around” knocking it out of calibration 😉

Speaking of ranch dogs, have you ever seen one load cattle? I used to load calves at a farm where the farmer had his dog herd the cattle all the way into the trailer. Ive got a few videos of it. I never left the trailer, just swung my gates and the dog did the rest. Little dog too.

You can check the rings 10 times and even use a check list, but you still wake up at night thinking you need to check one more time before you put the engine together :>). Same with timing marks!!! That initial start is exciting, but also stressful!!! Still nothing smells better than a warm engine freshly rebuilt after shutting it down. The new rubber hoses, fresh paint and new belt(s) have a unique aroma that not many people get to experience. Great video!!!

I pulled into a ranch with my pickup and trailer to get some cattle. I got out had my flip flops on to get my boots on. The 80yo rancher looks me up and down with my shorts and sandals. He’s not one to beat around the bush and says “you got the right dog,you got the right pickup and trailer but you sure as fuck don’t look like any cowboy I’ve ever seen “. I grabbed my boots out of the back and put them on. I asked him if that helped and he go fuck no I can still see your legs.

Thats why I hate the isx I go from my Detroit and n14 to my brother's isx and it needs to be shifted super fast too feels wrong. Ever isx I've driven has been that way Kenworths to Internationals. They do have the best jakes and pull pretty nice tho
