Reminds me of days over 40 years ago when I worked in the livestock business. There was a Nebraska livestock trucker that we used who about the best semi driver that I've ever seen. He backed up to a chute perfectly every time on the first pass--never missed. He could drive in the worst weather--often in the Rockies in the dead of winter. He had a Kenworth cabover with a sleeper and a 400 Cummins. He was also one of the nicest people that I ever met and one of the hardest working. He passed away over 20 years ago, but I think that his kids still run his trucking business.

You like to talk. Lmao!!! Well yeah!!! You drive truck!! And especially OTR. In the beginning it's thoughts. Then it turns into talking to the truck If it's being a pain. Then it goes to talking to yourself. Then you talk to yourself and the truck at the same time!!! Always knew the old school OTR guys when you hit a Pilot or a Loves. Anything, and I mean absolutely ANYTHING!! Sparks any type of a in passing conversation, be ready to set aside 30 mininimum.. I absolutely loved it though. I miss it.. A lot!!. Love your channel brother. Last time I drove and was knocked out by an elderly red light runner in 1999, I was driving a 96 international cabover just like yours... Don't know if you have been driving long enough but every time coming through OKC in the early early AM hours there was Bamm Bamm.. " got my nightgown on, got my pretty red panties on, and ima ready to go to bed" I'd start picking that up around Stroud Oklahoma on 44. OKC would make a drop and then head 35 south and that shit on 19 over and over and over until I'd hit around Ardmore. Depending on the skip sometimes all the way to Thackerville or even Texas, OK line.. Damn that makes me miss it.. Im sure only a very rare few know what I am talking about.. Regardless I love the channel my friend. Lots of great memories from riding with my dad in his cabover Pete on the Grapevine in California until my Time here in the heartland. Keep it up. It keeps me smiling.

Maybe one of you can answer this question. Meat prices are at an all time high. Is it record fuel prices, less meat availability due to disease (per main stream media lol) , or just greed? I can’t even afford to eat beef anymore and my food bill for a family of 3 is almost 3x more now than it was Two years ago.
@realwildwildwest6 ай бұрын
Hey there. Great question. The answer is two fold. 1.) the United States “cow herd” is the smallest it has been since almost 1960. So the supply is way down. 2.) the cost of goods across the board have gone up 23 percent in the last 3-4 years. So on top of a short beef supply, you are also getting another 23 percent slapped on that because of the economic climate. I hate that beef has become so affordable for everyone. The silver lining is that due to high market prices all the producers will be retaining female cattle to turn into mamas cows for more income and the herd should grow. This will begin easing prices.
