My first load out of state ( not old enough yet) I worked locally then had to drive all night down to Sacramento, arrived at 5 am rush hour. Never been on a road bigger than 2 lane freeway. You learn fast or wither. Did 36 hours straight once. I never used dope and all the guys I ran with did. Pretty tough keeping up with a bunch of speed freaks. Praise God I made it through those years. I do miss hauling cows in big power trucks.

Part 2 coming? I could sit in my chair for the full hour. 08:04 cute bull horn/hood handle, your voice changes a little, do I see a wire retainer on the upper teeth? Dental issues used to make me talk differently. Got to keep them pearly whites looking good for the You Tube videos.26:08 feels like a roller coaster. Well, I don't know we didn't get to see that part. I remember Whitehall in the old Windows XP, Microsoft Train Simulator. Computer train goes slow up those mountain passes and just like driving a truck slow going downhill. 10 times the weight driving a train, and even in a game they don't stop very easy. I'm enjoying listening to your Jake, that new engine sounds really good. Thanks, Jax for taking us along.

I pulled into a ranch to get two bulls with my 20 year old second gen dodge. The straw hat wearing ranch that’s about 70 years old 6’8’’ 100 pounds was walking out of the barn. I opened my door and my Aussie gets out and I get out with my shorts and flip flops. He looked me up and down and says you got the right pickup, you got the right trailer, you got the right dog but you sure as fuck don’t look like any cowboy I’ve ever seen.

Galesburg here. That was a very interesting and educational video for this State farm agent. We are flying out in about 10 days for a quickie trip to hang out with our son and his wife in Missoula. Haven’t been out there since we saw you. The kids have flown home a few times for weddings and funerals in that time. Did the winds of 80 to 110 mph tear the ranch up like they tore up Missoula?

I've done these kind of runs in the southern countries of Africa. Gobabis in Namibia to Dundee in South Africa with weaners for example. 1350mi or 2160km. But take into account, it's 3d world Africa. Not the developed US of A. Typical single lane country back roads. Wild animals day and night. Oblivious African motorists. Almost non-existing convenience stores. Speed limit of 50mph or 80km/h, which we obviously had to ignore, but that puts you on a constant alert for traffic officials. No time to fuel once you're loaded, need to carry enough juice for the whole run. And to top it all, a border post to cross between Namibia and South Africa with lazy and unhelpful personel. And last but not least weighing a total gross of 124000lbs on two trailers. We typically did such a run in 26hrs from closing doors to last hoof off, no sleep.

Trucking live sock long distances over thousands of miles is not for everybody here in Ontario Canada. We bring a lot of feed cattle or out of Western Canada, especially Saskatchewan Manitoba Alberta over the years exporting dairy cattle out of Ontario here reviews two different trucking companies here there’s only a handful drivers that you see month after month Year after year but keep trucking livestock over long distances. Why say is look after your health and don’t want to take breaks when you need to take breaks feed water and brakes are not a bad thing for the cattle and a good thing for the driver. it’s not worth driving tired or having to take Substances to stay awake, I know of drivers that have ruined their health and their relationships

@realwildwildwest that's called food manufacturing not farming, in the end it's a very different product that is produced. As far as affordability goes l get what you're saying but it doesn't actually reduce the price of meat just it's quality.
