4:53 “if there was a quality issue with the strap” … yeah there’s definitely a quality issue, it’s plain for all to see at 5:11 -the leather complete discolors from caramel to brown. Calling this defect “patina” blows my mind (brilliant marketing on Hermes and other leather makers)

We're on series 10 now and Apple is still using the same band setup. The series 10 is significantly thinner and lighter and is still compatible with these bands. At some point, the end user has to consider if they've gotten their $300 or so out of the watch bands. Now is not, 'some point,' since they're still viable. Solid buy, in my opinion. Especially if you're an aficionado of fine leather.

I had the same model and the black edging is rubbing off on both sides where I pull to remove the Watch 🙁 I had it replaced and it did the same a month later. I believe I see the same issue with yours.

On Apple Watch ultra they fit. The band will still be working for a while. So do not buy the watch it’s waste. Buy only the band
