I didn’t use launch control in this, I just brake boosted it. Although I have launch control through my Z Automotive Tazer it doesn’t work. It just spins the tires.

@@ceramicgrey300s9 gotcha. I tried brake boosting and almost pushed through the beams at the track. Only ran a 14.7. I know i need new spark plugs and an oil change but was still so far from 13s. Also was running 93. I know that takes timing away if your car isnt tuned for it so tune is coming. But i was just wondering

No, but you can unlock them through a device like the Z Automotive Tazer that plugs into your OBD2 port

Appreciate it, no serous reliability issues or anything. Some small things here and there on the interior, like the delaminated screen, sunroof shade issue, and the warped door panels from the heat but nothing serious. Car has around 85k miles on her. Got her with 15k about 4-5 years ago.

@@__vrfranco yeah I daily her. I can get almost 30mpg cruising. You’ll get decent gas mileage if you drive normally. I had a hard time finding this 5.7 as well as my previous one

@@ceramicgrey300s9 its cuz yesterday when I was putting on the tune i could only put on the transmission tune. I tried to load the 93 octane tune multiple times but it didn’t wanna show up on the Diablo monitor it would say “93 octane tune has already been loaded” and every time I would go to custom tunes it would just load the transmission tune and not the 93 octane tune. I don’t know if it’s cuz of the bolt ons I have or there’s something wrong with the monitor.

@@VV.Racing sometimes my device is glitchy so I just replug it in. If not try to reinstall the “stock tunes” and start over

I’d probably keep up longer if I had 3.09s but I have stock 2.62 gears.

@@ceramicgrey300s9 I thought 3.09s were for lower rolls and digs and 2.62s is for higher rolls

@@just_a5.7 I’m not too sure, but from my experience my car is shit from a 60, my rpm’s are around 3,500 so it takes a while for my power to come on. 3.09s have shorter gears so it will keep you in that powerband more than the 2.62, since it has longer gears. I also believe that the 3.09s trap much higher in the 1/4.

@@ceramicgrey300s9 that's weird my rpms are around 4400 to 5100 I forgot at the moment but that's at 60 mph downshifted to 3rd gear

Both resonators and both mufflers were removed and and replaced with 2 cherry bomb glasspacks where the mid mufflers were.

Night and day difference even from the Diablo canned tune. Can’t say he’s better then others, since he’s the only person that’s tuned my car, but you won’t be disappointed. If you do go through him make sure to get the engine and trans tune. They will compliment each other

@@gearhead4005 long story, but my original set were 20x10.5 and 20x11 w 275 and 315s. Had a 3mm spacer with no rubbing. Now I have the same setup up from but changed it in the rear to 20x10.5 and 305s with the 3mm spacer still no rubbing. But I lowered the car on mopar springs so there is a tiny bit of fender rub on bigger dips. Nothing major at all
