Good review. Maybe a bit picky on the negatives but all fair points. I have this model with the black dial. I find the bracelet link design wonderful and Orient is known to anyone who collects watches (every youtube collector certainly knows and even recommends them). Orient Star is their premium brand and I think nocks the socks off many “famous” luxury brands that cost about 10-30x more. I would rather differentiate myself with Orient Star than just be one more old fart with a Rolex, the most faked watch out there and even a genuine one would not turn a head.......because its boring.

Some incorrect information here and simply wanted to correct :) Calibre is pronounced ‘Kal-eb-burr’. Like the size of a bullet. Caliber/Calibre Second. Quartz only came to prominence in the late 60s and 70s starting with the Bulova accutron. The chronograph feature is much much older. Chronographs were automatic and quartz chronos came later. DaLuca straps are the best I've found. I bought two colors for another watch, black and olive drab. Super high quality nylon, yet really comfortable. You can get silver or black anodized hardware on every color as well. They have some leather NATO bands that are pretty interesting too.

The lowest I've seen it for lately is 248 dollars. I paid 280. Worth every penny. No bezel issues. No alignment issues. I'm fortunate. A lot of ppl have had issues. Love mine. It's 5 seconds off per day. I can easily live with that.

I took off the crap keeper and bought some cheap rubber ones off ebay, fit perfect now.

The only downside to this awesome watch is the thickness, everything else are your personal preference

Poor, not thought through

I have the navihawk it came with a rubber band that you cut to fit and thats my only con, the pros are everywhere! It is not complicated to work for me, its look is just awesome. And the eco drive with the atomic time was the topper for me. I love this watch!!!!

Pretty well known that the Skyhawks and Navihawks are mineral. I think your credibility is seriously hurt buy not getting this simple spec prior to posting a video that specifies this specific feature as the biggest problem. Crystal material is something I look at prior to purchase. It's a big deal. I do admit it still makes no sense to me that Citizen doesn't use sapphire on it's most heavily featured models. Granted that may raise the price a little but it would be cheaper than it was for me to immediately replace it with sapphire at a shop after purchase. As for the user difficulty and band issue. Band issue. Should a guy that wouldn't remember or know his Crystal's material be trying to be Mr. handyman with a watch at all? Very cheap easy fix at any jeweler. This also is a set and go watch.. What's confusing about this? You could hear he was distracted just making this video. Maybe this isn't the watch for your type. I most definitely feel that you are not the demographic for this watch but you are for the Tag. Perhaps that is ultimately the message here. I know this takes effort but if you actually did have a situation that required many steps to resolve, a smart phone and KZbin app would be faster and easier to use anywhere. I KNOW you use a smartphone. Blows my mind the laziness now. It's easier to post a question online than it is to use Google? I actually had to use libraries most of my life! How did I get through it?

This guy is comparing with the TAG indirectly. Hey Rob, The citizen does more than the TAG in functionality wise. Tag are too much priced for what the watch is actually. However, Tag watches movement are designed by Seiko Corp which I found out recently browsing in the internet as I wanted to know about Tag quality. Now I have decided to go for Citizen 9031-52L model.

It's a dress watch. Perfect size, any bigger and they lose that elegant look.

I paid $200 for mine new on Ebay.
