I ride the fire trails all the time (legally, registered and insured) and it's the litter that I find disturbing. It's the city people that come down and ruin things for the most part. They disturb the peace of those who seek quiet solitude in nature. They pollute the air with fuel exhaust and odor. They have NO PLACE in the woods. I support a complete ban of ORVs in the NJ Pinelands National Reserve, as well as all state lands, and will fight to see the current laws strictly enforced. I will continue to call the police when the law is broken and will urge my representatives to support any and all restrictions of ORV use in public spaces.
