I was watching a video about car car/van camping. He used a plastic five gallon plastic bucket (Lowe’s/Home Depot etc.) and a seat made from a pool noodle. I think a plastic bag and clumping material was/could be used as he didn’t discuss disposal as he was trying to showcase economy solutions. Thanks very informative:)

What’s the brand? But anyway, seeing the wasteful and messy packaging, I already don’t want to order one, plus, what’s the brand? There’s a lot of junk out there in the small AC world, but this demo only adds to the problem.

Hey guys, just found this great video. I want to acknowledge you guys for making this very easy to follow, great video presentation, and carefully planned out tutorial. You already have a platform bed, but you guys took the time to make a demo model for all of us to follow along. I greatly appreciate your time, energy, and the investment. We already have a tear drop camper, but I wanted to tryout the minivan for the long distance camping. Out Lexus GX 470 pulling our #2800 lbs camper only gets about 7 mpg towing, going about 65 mph on the highway. I think our 2014 used sienna will probably get around 24-26 mpg on the highway. We are looking forward to testing out your build! Thank you again for the video 👍

Thank you for the Sneak Peek. Very COoL (no pun intended). And you are now my hero... Battery, tools and a mini worksthop "on the dining room table?" Don't let this get out but I think we found the last "king of his castle" in America "Or" a very caring and tolerant wife. Cheers from So.Ca.USA 3rd House on the Left.

Seems pretty stupid to not put any information about this in the description.

Thank you for this video! The instructions are hot garbage and there is a new circle of HELL waiting the person who wrote them. Also to The Andersens QA group, please ensure all parts required for assembly are packed in a $300 spreader. I had to go to the local hardware to buy cotter pins as they 15:26 were missing from my unit. Lucky me …

Your video is terrible. What is needed is what is the input temperature and what is the output temperature, anything else is unnecessary. You need to let the unit run in a vehicle interior with the inlet vented outside and the outlet inside. Where does the water condensed by the evaporator go? Your video leaves more questions unanswered than answered. It was a waist of time to watch it.

Where are you with mini 12V air conditioners now - spring 2024? I didn't see the product identified or a link to where to buy. Also, would a heat pump be possible that could be switched from cooling to heating like mobile homes use, but smaller? Thanks for the video.

We have one of these directed above our heads blowing directly on to us in our bedroom which is blocked off and curtained like yours and it does the job for us. It cools the entire area a little bit but the direct cool air is what works best. It’s like the small portable units, only any good if you’re right in front of it. You could also try venting it into the bed below the covers.

So, good that you tried to curtain off the bed, but on the windshield side you have a thin whisp of fabric partially blocking the view, yet big square footages of air gap on either side of it. This is the FAIL! By not blocking off the air you are now trying to cool the windshield (uninsulated) and all the windows and exposed metal body panels. Again, a big FAIL! You did NOT block off anything with that curtain. I still think the little btu could cool off a bed area enough, but you cannot fail, you must actually block off the bed area in order to block off the bed area. I've seen more airtight kid's blanket forts....

It is indeed one of the most beautiful places in Earth. I'm so sad I didn't know you were here till a month after as I live in Whitefish so Glacier is my back yard. Would have loved to have met you two. I'm glad you got to come in the off season. It's really not fun in the summer due to so many people and of course winter you can't get into much of anything. Fall is the best time really! Thanks for sharing all the beauty up here. Glad your moose encounter went so well. Most people don't know how to deal with them and have a less happy experience.
