“The lost tapes” were all believed to be filmed by Dick Anderson in 1953 using an 8mm camera. He passed-away in March of 2020 at the age of 90 and two hours of tapes were recently found in his basement. Dick was a member of the Harold and Margaret Anderson family that lead the construction of the 1953 grain structure in Maumee, Ohio, which became known as “The Big Pour”. The massive project was covered by more than a dozen news agencies and attracted spectators from around Ohio and Michigan.
