Brand new cruiser no wobble at all bars are easy to steer I ride no handed bang on the bars I can't even start a wobble, it's just a war between ecells and wired with trolls on each side all fake news. both are nice bikes only went with wired because ecells is currently for sale for 1 million and have major concerns about future parts availability especially since they have so many models.

Excellent vid Dave! I've been interested in 3d printers for a while now, only problem is I don't even have a pc (just use my phone for KZbin/email etc) but one day I'd love to get one. This vid has given me a LOT of useful insight into how it all works, and I love how for around $400/500 I could get started (although I'm UK and we work in £'s 😅)... Really enjoyed watching a print in action, and I know if I had one I'd be sat mesmerized watching it at work 😂 One thing I'm going to soon be saving for is a bigger than 52v20ah battery, I want to step-up to either a 60, or 72v battery with powerful cells etc.. but after this I think a 3d printer (and a cheap pc) will be on my 'to get' list. Cheers & Great vid Dave, it was very inspirational to a total novice to all things 3d printed. 🚲⚡👍

@StayConnectedEV I recently made 2 X torque plates (same as torque arms, but bolted to frame) for my recent e-build, and I thought whilst making them, "these could be made using a 3d printer I'll bet?!" - As although I'd made them using thin steel plate (very strong) but I reckon if at least 4-5mm thick then they'd be strong enough if printed with a hard enough medium.

It's not "unique." All these e-bike companies get their frames from a handful of Chinese manufacturers, brand them, and then add the same components to that frame. The only real difference being how much a customer is willing to pay to upgrade those components. "Unique"? That's laughable.

@@StayConnectedEV - Look at Biktrix (to name just one company), their frames on several models are more than just similar. E-Cells might ask the manufacturer to add the little stars to the frame, so if that's the engineering you're referring to, you're right.

I'm tired of companies messing around at 40 mph possibly or in some cases.. road speeds 45 mph are needed for commutes with no bike lanes available. We need 45 mph to get in traffic for a few miles . 36-40 mph just is not good enough. Give us 45mph for a few miles to get in real traffic. Or use 50 amp controller like Goat does. Switch to a non geared motor if necessary.
@gphilipc2031
@gphilipc2031 2 күн бұрын
IMO: You would need a bike with 50 to 60 mph top speed capability. That way you won't be maxed out all the time when on the higher speed roads.

Now make a dual motor step through. Bump up to 45 amp dual controllers I'll be in for $4,000 . It must go over 45 mph flat ground and 30 miles at 40 plus mph

To be fair, “the KZbinr” had an obligation to review his experience with it and he had multiple failures. What should he have done? Now I agree that what he reviewed isn’t what came to production, but he was asked to review it and give feedback. He wanted to like it, but he got a malfunctioning unit, we wouldn’t want him to lie to us.

nice review thank you but next review would it be possible to talk about e-bike laws like where you live what is you state law then talk about you bike is it legal on your roadways or not that simple I grew up with mopeds and 49cc gas scooters before e-bikes there was no problem for 50 years the law over 49cc and you register it as a motorcycle that was the law and no one was demostrating in the streets. i learned 49 cc scooters and most e-bike are too slow you have to be on the side of the road in the crap and cars going buy you with a mirror 4 inches from your head I got bumped by a truck mirror went off into the woods my full faced helmet saved me I am getting a small 150 scooter or street legal dirt bike I want to be in traffic going with traffic you are much safer drivers are texting there are few bike lanes where I live again the cars are inches away if they move 8 inches you are hit I would like to see ebikes be able to go say forty or fifty and be in traffic and I think people in cars would like that too they would not have to worry about hitting an e-bikers it looks like all over though the standard will be not over 750 watts that will be easy to enforce by police no law will be perfect but we do have to stop the guy that wants to put his 396 chevy engine from the seventies on his bike it is coming to that buy smart ride safe and have a blast riding your legal ebike

Looking forward to getting this scooter right after New Year's when winter commute is at its roughest and can withstand snowstorms! The folding latch automatically gets resolved when you stick a pen underneath the deck latch when the scooter is folded in, preventing any sudden unlatching. I'd get this over the Apollo City due to its smaller profile and is slightly shorter, allowing it to easily fit in escalators if elevators aren't working!
