Modular is far from “unnecessarily difficult” it’s exactly as difficult as it needs to be in order to allow for the amount of possibilities that modular allows for. If it were full of kind of pre-wired things that are like commonly done or that cater to common techniques then it wouldn’t have the flexibility that modular has and that’s where the beauty and excitement of modular exist.

Really interesting and inspiring. Could you share what foot controller you're using?
@drbrownmusic6 ай бұрын
Thanks - the foot pedal I use is a Nektar Pacer. It's very solidly built and integrates with Ableton very easily.

This was great, thx. Pigments truly is an amazing synth (even more so with the new version 5), and you did a thorough job of explaining everything in a way that's easy for folks to follow. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 🙂

This is truly a gem of generative Ambient here o KZbin ! Very nicely done and inspiring, Bravo! It’s a shame that I see just only one comment and 12 likes here. This is a very beautiful peace of music and I’m looking forward for some new creations. Subscribed… 😊

Its honestly amazing the amount of sounds you can make with this single instrument that sound AMAZING. And the fact that they made it free is something else. Good on Ableton :) Having fun with this one.

Nice video! Is the FX Rack 'Ambient Guitar FX' the same rack on all 6 loop tracks and you're just adjusting the mix amounts on each to taste? Going to run my cello through this once I get rid of this annoying cough.
@drbrownmusic10 ай бұрын
I believe the rack was exactly the same on all tracks, with the exception of the gate sequence on the trance gate being different on each one.

really great intuitive video. learned a lot about a lot of new plugins that are going to help me create some creative atmospheres. felt like you constantly were saying how simple each plugin was but their organic tones are really what brings this kind of thing to life. sometimes having control over everything isn't everything. thank you so much for the video man :)
