Thank you for this video! <3 My kids are only 5 and 7 but I'm already doing uni research for them 😂We live in England where university tuition fees are INSANE (and property prices, and general costs of living!!!). I'd be keen for them to study abroad in Europe for the life experience & to avoid being burdened with excessive student debts! Thank you xx

here is my analysis : 1/ China : if Studying in China in English and mastering chinese at the occasion will give you a distinctive edge on the professional world, you will be obliged to quit China after the end of your studies, and even if you manage to stay, the salary there is too low, China is still relatively an emerging country. Also, China does not permit to a foreigner to become a chinese citizen. so this scheme suits a european or a person from a wealthy country who seaks to add a distinctive feature on his resume, more then an african who is willing to immigrate. 2/ US : US is the empire, it has very high standards of living and an economic and military might beyond imaginable, far greater than any other country in the world. like China, it is a member of the UN security council, and English is the international language and the language of international institutions. it's universities are largely dominating the Shanghai ranking (more than 40 in the 100 world best universities are american). but it has it's ''obscur'' side, that comes with great power. the cost of studies is extremely high, for a one year master of science in business schools like ''Hult International'' and ''Kellog School Of Management'' you will be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars. You also have a gun violence problem, and a crime problem that seem to be pervasive and higher than the rest of the developed world. so the US do offer a very qualitative education, and do have a cutting edge innovation and development, sided with some bad points like crime, women's health restrictions in some states, gun violence and crime 3/UK : an English speaking country, member of the UN security council and a developed country, UK does offer state of the art education in its universities, which come with a lower cost than the US. if the country is very advanced technologically, i find it regretful that UK choose to exit the European union, therefore seriously restricting the freedom of movements, work, and study in the UK and for UK citizens in europe. the UK has chosen an isolationist turn that i think, goes against globalization and the trend toward an inclusive world built on competitivity and the exchange of ideas and goods. plus the fact that the european project is a pacifist project built after WW2 on the uniformisation of the european countries on capitalism, democracy, free entreprise, and a security under the US umbrella. breaking that is bearing a lasting moral responsibility. 4/ Germany : in europe, it is the most advanced country, its GDP is greater than the UK and France, and germans proved their mastering of technology and high end brand management. Germany is an economical and a political giant, but is not a member of the UN security council due to its past in WW2, and therefore do rely in some extent on others in the international stage. studies are free, except for business schools and private schools, they will demand you an english proficiency and a satisfactory GMAT score. they also have sustainable and technological towns. 5/ France : i think do present the most balanced of all the destinations, studies in Business have a medium cost of approximately 15 000 dollars a year, it is a member of the UN security council and the European union, it has a social security web and a competitive industry based on high end management. you won't be getting the salary and the prestige of the US, nor the over the top technology of the germans, nor the english speaking colleagues of the UK, but you will not either be getting their defaults, you will have a good education in a diligent environment.

I want to go there. I like the thick broad Scottish accent. Find a Scottish girl that would be nice. LOL I'm in America by Utah and idaho. By Preston and smithfield. And my name is Preston smith. We have a lake monster too like Scotland does. Except our Lake Monster is real I don't know about their like monster
@Preston_Smith5 ай бұрын
Everyone knows about the Loch Ness monster. Not a lot of people know about the Bear Lake Monster. There's been less sightings of it and I think that's because there's more people and more boats and they built like some damn that like pumps water into the lake and I think all the noise makes the lake monster stay at the bottom. But I met someone who says that he saw it and I believe him and so that's why I believe it's real.

I really like the two of you. Plus, it’s interesting to see so much of the idiosyncrasies of both your cultures in myself, cuz the two primary of my three genetic homes are Scotland & Germany. The other ⅓ being Holland. Born and raised in Northcentral Indiana (US Midwest), I’m proudest of my Scots heritage. All the same, Ich habe deutsches Blut und bin stolz darauf, aber bis auf ein paar vorte spriche ich kein deutsch. 🤪

Oh dear how well you phrased every feeling I have now, like I felt wow I am not the only person who is struggling with dealing with this new life. 25 years old, I am curretly studying in Tokyo as a foreign student, been here two months and just like you, I really feel deeply for my family and feel the same kinds of loneliness from time to time. Uncertain of when my next flight home will be and I deeply miss a lot of moments I could share with my friends and my family. I thank you for this video. Tuely. Lots of hugs.
