This definitely strikes a chord with me, I had to leave my job as a nurse for the reasons Tasha explained. It was so helpful to realise I am not alone and that compassion fatigue, especially post pandemic is a thing and I have taken lots of her advice on board and will try not to be so negative towards myself.😢

Absolutely listen to your body and modify whenever you need to! To decrease the pressure on your wrists, you can complete both exercises raised from the floor by leaning on yoga blocks, a step, a sturdy table, or even a wall. Lots of options to do what feels best for you!

I just found this at 6 months pp. I overused my abs after birth as within a week I was walking my son to school pushing a pram (the birth was a C-section). I was in so much pain and still have some pain now but I'm hoping to regain some strength doing this daily! It was gentle enough to do but hard enough that I felt it.

We'd recommend seeing a physical therapist, especially one who specializes in pelvic floor health, for any medical care or treatment that you may need, as Diastasis Recti is very common in this season and beyond.
