I add large dice roasted potatoes to this and fry some sliced smoked sausage until beginning to brown. I roast the okra vegetable and sausage medley in the oven after beginning the saute on the stove top....at the end I add the separately roasted potato chunks. It's a delicious way to use my garden produce.

Give it a shot and see what you think. Everyone who tries this cornbread says it’s the best cornbread ever! And you can barely notice that it has corn in it.

2 problems here 1. What is the water quality that you're cleaning with ? Tap water especially city water has tons of chemicals. 2. You're washing the fruits in microplastics which isnt good at all .
@ChefAnge5 күн бұрын
Our water is highly filtered and tested regularly. We do our best to reduce plastic exposure. Eliminating it altogether is unrealistic for us as a family but feel free to make whatever adjustments fit your personal healthy and lifestyle preferences.

It must be gluten-free baking powder or you’re wasting your time
@ChefAnge6 күн бұрын
This statement is confusing on so many levels. Baking powder is gluten free but let’s say it wasn’t, how would gluten = wasting time? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Delicious! Does it keep a day or two or does it freeze well? I’m looking for make ahead dishes for Thanksgiving.
@ChefAnge6 күн бұрын
I’m not sure I’d freeze either but me but the stuffing might be ok frozen and then back in the oven to reheat. For the sprouts, I’d make the glaze and then make the sprouts in the oven day of and then mix everything together right before eating.

If i use diamond crystal does this change the ratios? Do you normally do it with tsp/cups or do you weigh the parts? Thanks!
@ChefAnge9 күн бұрын
I usually do it by volume, and I adjust salt portion based upon my salt preference. Recently, I’ve been making it far less salty. I don’t think the type of kosher salt that you use affects the volume too much.

How long does the balsamic dressing last not in the fridge? Would it last longer if kept in the fridge?
@ChefAnge9 күн бұрын
I’ll generally store it in the fridge, but if I’m going to use it the next day, I’ll take it out about an hour before using it so it comes up to room temperature and becomes smooth. It usually doesn’t last that long, but it can stay in the fridge for weeks.

You can use mis en place lids. Place tops facing togtogether. Lips w secure tomatoes and slice through w a sharp knife.

That rarely works as it’s intended unless every tomato is the same exact size. I prefer to take my time with some things.

Worcestershire ( wooster-sheer ) Also, it's more helpful in your written recipe if you actually say what the "fresh herbs" are. I know you mentioned it in the video but doesn't hurt to put it in the text also!

No never. This is how my mom made it every year for as far back as I can remember. Chestnuts are more of a Christmas thing in my family.
