How hard is Saudan? I’ve done pakalolo, cougar chutes, and ruby bowl a few times but never had the right conditions for Saudan couloir. Is it a lot harder?

It’s really not any harder than any of those to be honest, the entry is a bit treacherous depending on the day but once you’re in it’s usually quite nice. It’s maybe a bit spookier when you’re looking into it though

KZbin recommendation is crazy, this was on my homepage, and I got clicked on it bc of your super sick superman over the bridge on freight train. I have only very recently rekindled my interest in mountainbiking after a year long hiatus due to health reasons. I haven't ridden my dream bike, the arrival that I spent a year building after crashing it on no joke in my first three days of my first whistler trip in forever last year, then I stopped riding for a year .Within the first seconds of watching your video, I recognized the top tube of your arrival, thank you for the video, and the great youtube algorithm. I was literally staying up debating if I should sell my bike or you know, not come back to the sport, but your video reminded me why I loved the sport and my bike so much! Sorry about the rambling comment, and great video btw, I wish more people can see this. Btw, what setup are you running, what travel and do you have the new rear end?
@FinduroVR9 ай бұрын
Dude thank you for this comment!! Such a small number of people with these bikes, sooo cool being able to hear from others who have them! And EVEN COOLER that this has helped remind you of just how awesome mountain biking is - that's been my whole purpose of putting this stuff on youtube! The Arrival is such a versatile bike, I feel like you can take it anywhere and ride it in any discipline and still have a fun time no matter what. I've had gravel rides on this bike probably just as fun as a bike park day! As long as I'm on my bike and riding then I'm having fun, just takes a little change in perspective sometimes :) My setup currently is 150mm front 152mm rear, rear is the Push Industries custom shock and the frame is built with the old rear triangle. I want to do some upgrades to maybe make it capable up to 170mm front/rear, I just haven't pulled the plug on making any purchases yet. I did swap out my Magura's for Sram Code RSC's just for ease of use and repairs. Seriously thanks for watching and commenting, this has made my morning! Hope to see ya back on the horse soon 😉🔥

@@FinduroVR nah you made my day, KZbin is so crazy, and it’s all just meant to be, I was literally looking at my bike and contemplating when your video popped into my recommendations. I know the bike is so versatile,and so great, I felt it right from my first ride on it, I haven’t ridden in years before getting it, and I have never been on a 29er properly(well technically I demoed a canyon sender mullet the day before getting it). But there is magic to this bike, I felt right at home and faster than ever when I got on the thing, it was lovely. Wait, you are running 150 front, that’s neat, but why, does it feel better than 160? I got the push too, I loved it, I literally just commented on Darren’s instagram after watching your video, bugging him for the new fork… but I have actually never tried the X2 with the bike, do you like it? From the colour of your frame and etc, I assume you bought a “first few batch” SP2? Once again, thanks for the video, maybe one day, I will spot you in whistler in the summer, from afar, with your bike! HAHA!

@@jeremyzed6726 It is a magical bike, my first few rides I felt a confidence in my ride that I had never felt before- it is so stable and responsive and just wants to go forward no matter what! I heard there is ways to make the fox 36 longer in front, but I've never had the patience or reason to learn how to do it since the bike already rides so well- and kind of same with the Push, I messed with compression settings a tiny bit and then just left it as is. I am not mechanically gifted AT ALL, which is why I'm stoked the bike has done me so well so far - though things are starting to fall apart and break a little more often now after a huge season in whis. I have been considering buying the 170mm linkage thing, but I'm not sure if its worth doing that and buying a whole new suspension setup or just selling what I got and bucking up for a fresh 170mm one. I was lucky to get this one pretty early on with a good deal as I was working with them doing their rim lay-up, but now since I don't have those deals anymore I'm not sure its worth it and I really don't have the money to spend on that kinda stuff haha I always say hi to people riding WAO stuff, hopefully I'll see ya around as well! Enjoy your riding :)
@jeremyzed67269 ай бұрын
@@FinduroVR paying more attention after getting the bike, or magic, I literally saw two WAO in one day during crankworx last year, one at the i9 stand, the other by the grocery store close to the village centre. I love the bike, and hopefully I will see yours there next year. And I love WAO, I must have sent Josh hundreds of emails last year. About the linkage I was just curious but from I have heard seemingly people still dig the original 152 the most, it’s just so versatile. As long as you are not rushing down indeep everyday I don’t think you need the 170. I am too very very bad at fixing my bike. Though I just spent way too much effort on researching this bike last year. I think you must have been using 160mm on the front this whole time then, bc they bike came with 160, and on fox forks you have to swap out the whole air spring assembly to change the travel. Plus your geo will be all wanky if you run a 150 on the front.
