These unsanctioned trails just north of Kamloops are a prime example of old school interior singletrack! Low grade, fast, open, and features just coming out of nowhere - this is really one of my favourite spots around here and even better to get to ride it with my dad and brother! We rode Cornhole and Jellyfoot, and finished the day with a mysterious freeline line I noticed dropping off the side of a campsite. It was much gnarlier than I expected so make sure to watch to the end (or skip ahead) to see how that went! Thanks for watching and hope to see y'all in some rad ski videos soon!
One thing I dislike about MTB videos is how you can never (or rarely) get across the feeling of a fun trail. Jamieson in particular is fascinating because for the most part, the trails are easy flat and open. This makes for some REALLY fun riding, but on camera most of it looks menial and slow. The only way to really know how fun a riding zone is is to go check it out yourself, or ride a TON of different trails to figure out exactly what kind of trail you enjoy the most. I love trails of all different kinds but this raw, almost freeride inspired singletrack is some of the stuff I enjoy the most!
Also, I'm back in Whistler now for the winter, so hopefully the next few videos will be some sweet powder skiing in one of the greatest resorts in NA! It'll be my first winter season here and I'm more than stoked to see how it goes- skiing is almost just as much fun as biking to me so I'm sure it'll be a good one :)

My bike is the 2022 We Are One Arrival, 150mm travel w/ Push Industries coil shock. This bike is bombproof and descends just as good as it climbs (which is really damn good btw). The frame and rims were hand-built in Kamloops which is my home town- and the rims were laid up by me as I worked there for about 2 years. I've been riding bikes since I was a kid and grew up in BMX racing, DH racing, watching freeride movies and going to events like Crankworx with my family. Needless to say, bikes are kind of everything to me. Glad I can start to share this world of mine with others, and begin to improve my editing and video making skills - I've wanted to do something like this for a long time now and I'm more than excited to see what the future brings! Thanks for watching, and PLEASE if you have feedback or tips let me know in the comments or on discord @FentonVR !
