Adam rapa is no doubt the best all round trumpet player ever. He can really do it all.

that first b natural should actually be B half flat :)
@maxm745 Жыл бұрын
No doubt Adam Rapa is beyond skilled, but as a life long trumpet player I gotta press X to doubt that he is doing 'insane double tongue' towards the end. It sounds more like a very stable speed, clean flutter tongue (which is really hard to do too!). If he really is double tonguing that fast then he has surpassed being a freak of nature, and is just a god
@TubaTones Жыл бұрын
It’s not double tongue, it’s clearly flutter tongue. What’s very special is that he’s figured out the speed at which to play the different notes “in time” with the flutter to sound like an insanely fast double.

I miss the days my school played this song. ):

It may just be the MIDI messing with my brain, but this arrangement sounds like it could be the conclusion/credits theme of the best video game I have ever played. This feels like a take on the song where we survived our imminent deaths and prevailed alongside our love instead of succumbing to nuclear annihilation.

I just wanna know if I could theoretically use that part of a show to use as a small high school Stand tune. Like, is it legal or not?
@noaaahhhhhh9420 Жыл бұрын
Probably not, if you use it in a show though you do need to get the rights to use it. Although I doubt it’s very expensive for a hs show
@ThatGuyThatSaidSo Жыл бұрын
Stand tune though. Like maybe just the rhythm of each part idk if that would be fair game

@kaydenkaboobi Жыл бұрын
0:04 - i wanna say the bones are mostly in a duple feel throughout the movement, counter adjacent to the 12/8 meter. if you listen closely, they play more in a *sixteenth note pulse* (of course except when they do the glisses). other than that, good work man. you’ve got a good ear.
@OlliOtter Жыл бұрын
This also applies to the Mellophones at measure 17; sounds more like groups of two 16th notes instead of two 12/8 8th notes.
