Hi! Thank you for letting us know. So sorry to hear that Great Aunt Lalapot is no longer there, which is a pity as their lamb pot was really good. Guess F&B biz can be very competitive especially when Sutera has so many eateries. Glad that you found another good place to eat at Sutera👍🏻😊And thank you for checking out our video. Hi! You’re right, thank you for point it out.👍🏻There are limitations on importing food and fruits into Singapore. For processed foods like biscuits, cookies, nuts, etc, according to the latest SFA regulations, the combined weight of all items should not exceed 5kg or 5 litres and the total value should not exceed S$100 per traveller. For fruits and vegetables, a small hand-carry size amount is permitted. Thank you for checking out our video. Have a blessed day! 😊

Hi, so this bazaar is from. No 1 address given? It open from 6am? 😂 Some say open later afternoon. Confuse liao
@travelsandroadtrips5 күн бұрын
Hi! The official opening hours for Johor Jaya CNY Bazaar is 6am to midnight. But personally we have not been there at 6am before so not sure about the level of activity at that hour. Our guess is some stalls may be opened but some closed. Perhaps the closer to CNY, more stalls will be opened at earlier hours. But for this kind of bazaar, personally we feel the best time to go is late afternoon onwards coz the vibe tend to feel more bustling and festive from late afternoon to evening. We realised there’s an error in the address at the description and have amended accordingly. Thank you for checking out our video. Have a blessed evening😊

Hi! Thank you for your message. For this video, we try to cover stalls which we feel are unique in some way or another, while at the same time address the needs of our viewers from different geographical locations including viewers in Malaysia, for whom the bak kwa recommendations may be useful. For our Singaporean viewers, we hope these recommendations may be helpful for those who are either looking to buy bak kwa for their friends/relatives/associates in Malaysia or for their own personal consumption while in Malaysia. Hope this clarifies. Thank you for checking out our video and have a blessed day😊

Hi, Just happen to chance upon your video. Nice place. However, it would be better if you also provide the cost per night and also details on available breakfast and other meals. Hope to get a reply from you. Tks.
@travelsandroadtrips6 күн бұрын
Hi! Thank you very much for your feedback. The reason we didn’t provide the cost per night is because rates for accommodation tend to fluctuate depending on the season and day of the week. Example, during weekends and holiday periods, the rate difference could be double, and we are concerned that the rate we published may not be the rate that our viewers get, thereby causing confusion,etc. But as a guide, the rate we got for Talulah was $306 for 2 nights including breakfast. For the Container Hotel, it was $45 per night with no breakfast. They don’t provide breakfast at the Container Hotel. Hope this information helps. Thank you once again for watching our videos. Cheers!😊

Very nice video episode. Thanks for sharing JB CNY 2025 shopping venues. What about Aeon Tebrau? Maybe too far and not convenient for most Singaporeans who do not drive. Kindly advise what bus number from jb sentral to this place???
@travelsandroadtrips6 күн бұрын
Hi! We have not tried getting around by bus to the places featured in this video before, so we could only advise based on what we could search from Google: 1. For Johor Jaya CNY Bazaar, from JB Sentral, take Bus T14 to Aeon Tebrau. The bus journey to Aeon Tebrau will take approximately 33 mins, depending on traffic conditions, with 17 stops along the way. From Aeon Tebrau, it’s an 18 mins walk to the Johor Jaya CNY Bazaar. Apparently, this is the fastest way to get to Johor Jaya via bus and there don’t seem to be any bus-stops any nearer to the bazaar itself. 2. To go to Sutera Mall, take bus T30 from JB Sentral to McDonald’s Taman Sutera Utama. Journey time is approximately 20 mins with 10 stops along the way. From McDonald’s Taman Sutera, walk 20 mins Sutera Mall. 3. For Laotouzi and Paradigm Mall, we can’t seem to find any clear information. 4. If you wish to visit Ming Ang and you are at JB Sentral, we would recommend checking out their outlet at JB City Square instead which just across the road from JB Sentral, instead of going all the way to Bukit Indah, which will likely take you about 90 mins or so including walking time. Once again, as we have not tried visiting these places via bus from JB Sentral, it is best to verify the accuracy of the above information with the staff at JB Sentral, in case the bus routes or bus service number has changed. Hope the above helps. Thank you for checking out our video and have a blessed day😊

Hi! Ya understand it can be quite a put-off when there’s no crowd in the restaurant. Perhaps it’s a timing issue. uncle, how do you tell if a parking lot requires you to pay for it? my problem is I don't see any signs most of the time
@travelsandroadtripsАй бұрын
Hi! That’s a good question coz the signboards are sometimes quite obscure, written only in Bahasa Melayu(on hindsight, we should have mentioned this in the video) and many times they only place a single board for a huge parking area. So when we can’t see a sign board, we will use the parking app to detect the location area or road name. We will then tap on the indicated location, select whether we want to pay hourly or daily and the app will show the amount of parking fee required. Also rule of the thumb is, unless you are parking in a private estate area, shopping mall or prepaid parking, it is always safer to assume that the open air parking lot requires payment. It can be quite tricky at times coz we did encounter a situation before where the area used to be free parking(the Nanyang street area at Mount Austin)but after about a year, we were told that now parking payment is required via the MBJB Spot app. So we will just pay for parking with the apps whenever we are at any public parking space that’s not within a private development or shopping mall. Just to play safe. Hope this helps and have a blessed Sunday!😊
