My school had very similar "it will distract others" excuses for dress code "violations". A good example off the top of my head is that I a guy back in HS started growing my hair out because I wanted to, and I was in no particular order: kicked off the archery team, almost kicked out of the band, given detention, written up multiple times, and even denied to ride the bus home after my car broke down (I was listed as both a bus rider, and personal driver just in case). It was the tired ass excuse of "it's distracting for others" to which I replied pointing at a girl walking past the office "I can see her whole ass and half her tits" (she was a cheerleader not in her school provided uniform BTW) this was in 2016

Oh my god, this is so good. Me and my BF are the same. Our "worst" argument ever (we are 10 years together) was if the water is wet (His argument: It can´t because if the thing is wet, it´s covered by water and I said that it can in specific instance of ice, because ice is still water, fust in frozen state and can be covered by water, hence, water can be wet) If these are couples worst arguments, you are golden and set for life full of happiness.

Now, I'm not a scientist so my logic might be completely wrong but I imagine the initial spike of energy is slightly weaker but still pretty effective, let's say it starts at 4/5 energy. 5 hour energy probably also doesn't give you a consistent 5 hour peak but begins to gradually decrease after 3 hours and exponentially decrease the closer you get to 5 hours. Putting these concepts together, I'm gonna say that both options are partially right. The peak amount of energy is less, we end up with "university student up at 1am writing an essay due in 2 hours" energy. However, after maybe an hour an a half, we're back to half-assed energy and by the 3 hour mark, BOOM! "Single mum of 3 right after putting the kids to bed" energy

Reminds me of a dream I had about a horror game, where you a a national park ranger, and you have to hunt skinwalkers by telling apart wildlife. It had a indie boomer-shooter style grainy texture, similar to Dusk or Iron Lung and Buckshot Roulette. When I woke up I decided to come up with lore and mechanics. So basically, the lore is you were once a camper with your friend who liked to go on hikes in that park. However one night your friend goes missing. There was a playable prologue session which functioned as a tutorial, where you had to find your friend. Eventually, you find him but he doesn’t speak and behaves strangely. Eventually, you and your “friend” stumble upon your actual friend’s skinless corpse. Theres then a chase section and it ends with a cutscene of you tripping and falling down a ravine. Cut to present day where you are a ranger guarding the park from 5PM to 3AM. Theres three possible endings when I dreamt it but I forgot them. The mechanics involve patrolling the park. You have a map, a rifle, a flashlight, a lantern and radio. Every night you are stationed at a base camp, and you have to reach a ranger post (such as a tower or lodge) to contact management to sign out before dayshift. However, this includes hunting a certain number of skinwalkers for the park to be safe in the morning. Throughout the night, you will stumble upon abanded structures (abandoned posts, bloody and destroyed camp sites, etc) In them you’ll find supplies such as ammo and batteries, but you’ll also find VHS tapes. Back at base camp there is a television where you can view the tapes. The tapes are basically discarded training tapes for rangers like yourself. Each night the tapes will highlight a certain detail to identify skinwalkers. They get more complicated each night. The first night, you can tell a skinwalker apart by its eyes, and the 5th or 6th night youll be cross referencing every little detail about that silhouette in the distance before it notices you. Each abandoned posts you make it to, you will highlight it on the map, and fix its generators to power it again. Eventually, the marks on the map will form a path to the nearest operating ranger post.

We moved 5.5 hours away, so naturally we or our inlaws now have to regularly drive 5.5 hours for visits on birthdays and holidays. We did TWO trips this Christmas because my step-father moved across state.
