When I rewatch the London quad it’s so clear how they put Jordyn on a pedestal over Gabby even as Gabby closed the gap and it was clear that if she was consistent she could easily outscore Jordyn. They (USA gymnastics) really set Jordyn up for disappointment by overly hyping her.

I absolutely love watching Nina perform on bars. She is a taller gymnast and still makes bars look effortless. Mai had one of my favorite floor routines for music.

Also I wanna say that Ragan was good on beam yet Laurie was a little better. It’s like Konnor vs Skye on beam in 2024. Skye is great yet Konnor is better. So it’s unlikely Ragan couldn’t even beaten Laurie. It’s possible if she did all she could do and did the Patterson with a good landing. Yet the most likely scenario she would’ve lost to Sanne.

@ I’m sorry but maybe English isn’t your first language. When people say come back stronger there’s no automatic implication that they failed the first time. It can mean you had an emotional issue, an injury or you could have had success but you can always come back to win or do better than what you did before. If you got an A- on a test and you come back stronger and got an A plus the next time doesn’t mean your A minus was a fail. If you want to talk about Jordan in the Olympics if she hadn’t made those small mistakes on floor there would have been no question of who deserved that bronze medal. I personally believe Jordan should work on her consistency and come back stronger in that. That in no way implies I’m calling her a failure.

Sabrina has the worst leg form on her layout skills. 😩 I don’t even know how it got that bad. Jordan’s lawyers also said in their brief that the FRG originally tried to argue that the CAS should overturn Jordan’s inquiry because the Gogean shouldn’t have been credited. I wonder if someone told them that the CAS couldn’t do that because they couldn’t overturn a scoring decision and that they should try to question the timing of the inquiry instead. Great video! You’re so right about Romania too! Why are they so comfortable getting affirmative action from Western Europe but so opposed to black people getting any kind of economic or educational aid? It’s so obvious that it’s anti-blackness.
