Hey Don, I have a question. When you use the "pin the screen" feature and turn your head left and right, is the screen jittery? Mine is, and I don't know if they're defective or what. You'd think that with a 120hz refresh rate, that wouldn't happen.

I'm glad that even though you got this for free, you still stay unbiased. I'm buying this as my first PCVR only headset after my 3 years with the Quest 2 PCVR experience. Can't wait for when my wallet isn't burning and I can afford this!

I know it's an old vid. But, would this improve the focal distance? I find I have to press the headset into my face to see anything with the stock lenses.

Hey Don. Good review buddy. I do have a question. Since I'm a VR video guy, I've used my VR headset as if you are hooking up directly to the HDMI out with an HDMI to USBC converter. I'm wondering if that would work with these glasses?

Hey Don, since viture is listening to you. Could you tell them we need a firmware update for the 3d? When you press the button on the side to go into 3d mode the image is square. Instead of 16.9

Great review! People in the comments section, listen up! I just received my glasses today. I did not get them for free; I paid for them on Amazon last week and just got them today. Let me tell you, I am a huge techie, and when something sucks, I return it. I will not be returning these. They are amazing! I returned last year's model because the technology, in my opinion, wasn't there yet, and I wasn't wasting my money on them, so back they went! Not these! These are a keeper until their next iteration. WOW, JUST WOW! I showed them to my wife and said, "Remember last year's model? Well, check these out." She was amazed! My neckband will be here tmrw!

Nice review. I was sad to hear that they're on the same frames. If they got edge blur fixed and had also gotten a more flexible frame for increased comfort, I might have tried these out. I had the Viture One glasses for a week before I ended up sending them back because they were too uncomfortable.

Hey Don, I loved the review! and the “Quick Connect” cable was really great! I know it's a bit out of your league, but could you test the current glasses on xbox/ps5 and give a detailed review (like you already do lol)?

I tried both, bought then returned and then bought it again to give it another try. I just returned it for the second and last time, in Europe the conversion from euros to USD equates to $680 for the glasses, beam and a case for the beam. The picture quality is great but I couldn’t justify the cost/value. 😊

Have and have no issue with the original version. Don’t see anything really change that would excite me. Tried the neck band and after I realized the Android tv os was too limited for what I wanted to do. Give me screen stability so I can use them for sheet music.

I hate wireless VR

This is tech I will buy when it's 400 usd and will replace portable display on my travels.

I simply want to say: Why do we like games? Why do we play games instead of watching movies? Because it's more fun... Because we are doing something ourselves... Because we can influence things... Because we interact... The point where it all connects, I think, is to experience an imaginary sense of realism and to feel a sense of pleasure, excitement and enjoyment... Now, in my opinion, if a story-driven, interactive, FMV game can provide the most basic triggering feeling that leads to playing a game, and even if it can sometimes provide a more impressive, realistic experience than other conventional game genres, then of course these game genres should also be considered as games and they should be given a considerable value.

Great video Don! This looks good, but I wish they would have added some straps to the controller covers. Maybe some soft straps like Meta's.

I'm not impressed really. Xreal Ultra 2 is on the horizon , so is Visor, both look to have more functionality then this update. I wish they would have worked on updating the neckband. And waited to release this update

You should have added that it will help solve the issue where people can't run the ethernet cable all the way to their desktop.

I think it would be a good addition to a Samsung S24 using Samsung Dex.

I find I have to alter the PD every time I watch something with my G3 headset. Even then its difficult to get the whole screen in focus, its like watching a film through a set of binoculars.

Does connecting a Link cable to your PC improve the INSTALLED quest 3 version of Red Matter 2, or do you need to purchase the PC version of Red Matter 2 .. if you follow me? Or to put it another way, does connecting to a powerful PC via a Link cable improve the performance of games that you have installed ON the actual Quest 3 headset?
