Tory feels like no one has her back, and with everything going on, she goes back to Cobra Kai, where she's comfortable and safe. I think Sam will help Tory get thru this difficult situation she in, and their friendship will be stronger for it.

She just wants to fight for her and her mom, and from her perspective Kreese has often been there for her. She has always been his first pick and champion throughout all the seasons. And what Kreese said at the start of EP5 got "confirmed" by her at the fight, incorrectly or not. She is also the longest member of Cobra Kai, seasons 2-5. Which is the longest I think of anyone on the TV Show, including sensei's. Wish you showed more of the end, their entrance was awesome.

"...from her perspective Kreese has often been there for her". Go watch the beginning of episode 5 again. Also watch the 9th episode of season 5, where Tory explains to Sam what happened to her and what the situation with Cobra Kai is. They turned Tory into a bipolar at the end. Such a shame...

No need for that, that's the reason I wrote "has often been there for her" instead of "has always been there for her".

Plain and simple it’s either Daniel’s way or the highway. Johnny is learning miyagi do but adding his flavor to it which is fine. Daniel just can’t take it cuz he wants it to be his way only.
@stixoimatizontas6 ай бұрын
Daniel's perspective is that karate doesn't mean to fight blinded by your emotions. And to be fair, this is the right way, realistically speaking. The one who fights with anger has lost the battle before it even begins. Losing a battle can mean many things. When you act out of anger you can easily get carried away, ending up doing and saying things you will later regret. Stopping the girls was the right thing to do. Daniel and Amanda would want the fight to stop even if Tory was facing someone else, it had nothing to do with Sam. Yes Tory needed to release those emotions and decompress, just not by using her opponent as a punching bag. She was out of control and we can see it. She went all-in, she confused her spot with Sam's, she didn't realise she got the point and ended up going for that extra kick and she was about to turn Sam's face into grounded meat, had Daniel not stopped her. But let's say Daniel and Amanda were biased. What about Robby? Was he siding with Sam, too? When all he wanted was for himself and Tory to come on top? What about Sam? After she realised Tory is not the monster she believed her to be, she listened to Miguel and went to speak to Tory. During the fight at the dojo, she run to help Tory when Kim showed up. She told Kenny how EVERYONE has a home at Miyagi-do, regardless of what happened in the past, meaning her rivalry with Tory. They started getting along and became good friends. Sam didn't want to fight Tory when she was at her most fragile state, thus she said it wasn't right to fight. Back the the adults, Amanda has been there for Tory after she found out what the second had been going through. She treated her like a daughter. As for Daniel, yes he is Sam's father, but he also is a genuine teacher. And a real teacher treats all his students as his/her children, like mr Miyagi had done. As for Johnny, don't get me started. He has such an ability to say the wrong things at the worst moments sometimes. He really fed the fire with that question to Amanda, as he did later when arguing with Daniel, by calling out mr Miyagi, without knowing the context. If he really understood Tory, as he said, he should have been the first to try and explain why fighting at that moment would be the wrong thing to do. Heck, he could have Tory fight him in order to release her rage. And then they could start over the fight for the captains position, when Tory would have been focused and collected. On the other hand, let's say that Daniel didn't stop the fight and Tory had lost, because of how unfocused she was. Would that be better? Would it be more fair? Would that be a better fighter wins situation? No, it wouldn't. So, in conclusion, I believe that blaming the LaRussos for playing favourites is simply unfair. That part of the story was just badly written, because the writers wanted things to go this way but had no realistic options to do it, and they ended up with these illogical acrobatics.

@@stixoimatizontas I agree plus, Daniel was willing to compromise this season in other episodes even willing to let Johnny have his way in the first episode. He wanted to keep it 50/50 balance with is style and Johnny's, he just didn't think Tory was in the right state of mind to fight in that moment and he was right.

Having Tory back to where she was last season is got to be the worst thing the writers did for her. After everything Miguel and Robby did to being her and Sam together, the writers think that it was all for nothing especially that a lot of fans “want them be friends” after past seasons of rivalry.

@@weaponsofwarfare9537 That's not the point. They undid the whole part 1, the last 2 episodes of season 5 and certain other things from season 4, with these last 2 scenes. They just wanted Tory back to CK, because in their heads 1+1=11. Unless they somehow want to give us a "ha! gotcha!" kind of script later, which I don't even know if I will buy. There is one word about all this nonsense: Netflix...

@@stixoimatizontas Netflix is not in charge of how shows are written. Also, Ralph Macchio is the director this time. Could be his idea to kill off her mom and drive her mad and depressed. I don't blame her.

I really loved the first 3 episodes of Season 6 but 4 and 5 really derailed it for me. - Episode 1 - Although Johnny ultimately does concede, Daniel was willing to concede and even let Johnny win. Kenny also came to the light. - Episode 2 - We got a bit of a closing and with Brux and Kyler. We also got Kreese overcoming his "Weakness" - Episode 3 - We got Kwon and other students and we got a full-on make up between Tory and Sam. ---- The loose ends were tied up and there was even a subversion of all the tropes in these regards. Episode 4 - Demetry was annoying and a control freak, also not a fan of Johnny pulling for Devon the way he did. Episode 5 - Loved Robby and Miguel fighting, I don't mind having Tory's mother dying but not a fan of Tory going to the "Darkside" again. Undid everything not a fan at all. Also mad about Demetry's continued smart-assery in episode 5. ---- Hell Johnny and Daniel made up again only to have a future ""Split" planned.
