Make sure to unzip it using 7zip, winrar, or any other program. Then drop it in the vita. It won't recognize it if it's not unzipped

When I click to install the game it just shows a list of numbers

Is the game in an archive, or is it zipped? PSP games have to be ".iso" if it says .7zip or .rar or anything else it'll have to be extracted.

Thanks for the tip! I've taken the Ally apart many times at this point, so if worse comes to worse, I can hopefully just swap them out. Did you have to buy new sticks?

@@sayianprincevegeta7969 Yes from Amazon. they were like 15 Euros with a screwdriver and other helpfull tools. Its pretty easy everything is modualr. There are turorials on youtube. :D

That's hilarious! Yeah, I remember the good old vita days. It was honestly the same for me with the vita and not playing 90% of what was on there. I think i just like having the library available, and if storage isn't an issue then I don't really mind having a bunch that I'll likely never play. My ROG gets a TON of play though! I regularly play many of my switch games and gba games on it, as well as PC Games ofc. I recommend getting the ROG X if you can, because I've heard nothing but good things about the battery life, which is the only complaint I really have with my Ally.

@sayianprincevegeta7969 in my country, Rog ally x is priced at more than twice the price of Rog ally z1 extreme, that's why I'm not buying it. I'm planning on buying a power bank later on to mitigate that issue. I also won't be getting an sd card and will solely rely on the internal storage because I've heard a lot of bad things about the sd card reader inside the ally getting fried due to bad thermal design. I'll also be able to focus more on 3-4 games with the limited amount of storage which is exactly what I want.

@saarishtthaman6951 I don't blame ya there. At double the cost, I don't believe it would be worth it. When I first received my Ally, I upgraded the internal storage device to 2tb and quit using the SD slot altogether. So far, the 2tb has been the perfect amount of storage space I required, and it would be about 500gb less if I didn't include the retro games library

Yeah, I can't express enough how useful the Kickstand is. It's an absolute GAME CHANGER. I'm not sure about the type of adhesive, but I attached it over a year ago, and it hasn't budged at all

This is the Z1 Extreme, but if you mean the ROG Ally X, then yes, definitely! The battery power alone would make it a great buy imo. I recommend more than 1tb, though. In my Ally I have 2tb (I swapped the internal SSD) and I still wish I had more space LOL

It's a repack of the game so it bypasses all the annoying launcher stuff. I recommend looking into Dodi repacks for more info. It's cool stuff!

@ I’ve tested it on my switch I’ve been able to play some online games on it nothing to crazy but I saw you can emulate switch games on Ubuntu which I found a use since I was already banned from online then it made no difference, psp and 3Ds are much better on Ubuntu than on android from what I saw idk if it’s changed

@@sayianprincevegeta7969 yes I’ve tried it, I played some online games on my banned switch and emulating switch on switch is great for my case since I’m already banned, 3Ds and psp run great, better than on android from what I remember so gib it a try and make a video coveting it not many people showcase it and it would be nice to have a video to come back to for a reference Ps. Found this online when searching your error. When you convert them, use compression, many game will not work without. Mode 1-3 is enough. The problem most people get is from convert with Mode 0-No compression.

To mod an oled switch you'll have to have a mod chip installed. Once you find an installer and they do that, then you'll just have to handle the software side, which is mostly easy to find on KZbin. 😁👍👍

What’s confusing me is that I just got Tony Hawk Underground 2 to work on my vita but now all the other games that I try to copy tell me that the file name isn’t valid

Actually scratch that last part everytime I boot up Tony Hawk Underground 2, it goes to a black screen before giving me an error and kicking me out of Adrenaline. So yeah I’m might be cooked all around😭

You are likely missing the base.pbp file. Some downloads don't come with it. Try and source the files from somewhere else 👍

Thanks! I have! It's hit or miss, depending on the game. It's probably not worth setting up gamecube on the Switch for most title, though.

The directories may have a new location since this video was made. Just find where your games are being loaded from, and use that file location instead.
