For taking off the valve body and TCM it looks like the FSM has a very nice diagram of what bolts you need to remove and what they are labeled and how long each of them are. In case anyone is looking to do this and you’re worried about all those bolts.

U should get pedal commander makes the biggest difference out of all my mods trust me. It opens the the throttle wide open alot quicker and regular acceleration with less effort. Great throttle response and makes even my 7at fun again

Yeah man I have one on my G, I also had one on my 370z, but unfortunately the one on the Z started giving me problems and made the car throw a CEL and put it into limp mode too. Had to throw that one away, for that reason I removed the two videos I had about the Pedal Commander, I couldn't continue advertising knowing the issue it causes. What's weird is that the one on my G has been perfect, so go figure LOL.

Hello, normally the upper hose will feel much hotter then the lower one, if it's stuck open, both hoses will feel about the same temp and not as hot.

@@Brandon-uy1uv hello, most likely, on the G and the Z the vacuum hoses become brittle, crack and create unmetered air into the intake system. This causes higher RPM's and also heat soak as well

If your so concerned about your oil being at a certain temp. Ehy even have installed the oil cooler on your car? This I need to know... I have and love my 02 accord 2.3L with manual 5 speed tranny. Living in OC California the damn freeways are Always congested. I added an Oil cooler to my engine and I run fully Synthetic Pennzoil 10W30. My engine on the freeways especially at slow and go speeds is a lot cooler than without the cooler. Ive also ibstalled a high end Air Oil separator which my goodness the engine runs so much better without the carbon build-up. My engine has 235K original miles mostly freeway. After having the cylinder head replaced due to valve seals going bad, my car runs great👍. I credit the Greddy Oil Cooler for the lowered operation temps in the engine. I need and cant find a two core ALL Aluminum Radiator, I'm on my secobd Stock plastic capped crap radiator thats only single core. If anyone knows where I can buy a drice fit 2 core All Aluminum Radiator for my 02 Accord Please let me know.❤

Actually Oil temps are ideal at 176 F . It's moronic closed loop PCV systems that dump Ugly Combustion byproducts back into the intake. Contaminating intake air and adding ugly chemicals into the combustion chambers.... Annnd back into the crankcase Only making the blowby gases increasingly uglier. FIT a catch can fer Gawds' sake . Typically Datsuns are poor machines. ....Despite sales babbles.

Cделал такой свап на своем g37x … есть такое ощущение, как будто для этой коробки не хватает давления , особенно в режиме D , Ds . В ручном режиме переключает бодро , но 6 и 7 передача , включается немного не четко .. может из за редуктора 3.69 , а возможно из за малого давления масла . Думаю стоит его поднять и отстроить четкость переключений по передачам , тогда будет хорошо .

I think what you're saying translates to this, hopefully: "I made such a swap on my 937x ... there is a feeling as if there is not enough pressure for this box, especially in D, Ds mode. In manual mode, it shifts briskly, but 6th and 7th gears are engaged a little unclearly .. maybe because of the 3.69 gearbox, or perhaps because of low oil pressure. I think it is worth raising it and adjusting the clarity of gear shifts, then it will be good."

A good Tuner should be able to fix your trans solenoid line pressure to make the shifts feel more consistent. Good luck.

Hello, Concept Z is local to me so I was able to pick it up in person the day after I ordered it. I was already tuned when I installed these, a tune is recommended if you're installing these.

I've read that the ISR long tube headers fit the all wheel drive models with no problems.

Then no it won't work, because your TCM which you would be swapping over is programmed for 5 speeds only.

I tried filming how to take off the AC compressor in this vid, I tried different filming angles, but all came out bad so I left it out. It really isn't that hard to figure it out, all you need to do is look at the new compressor and you'll see where the bolts go and that should help you take out the old one, basically what I did myself.

Ok so which oil filter and adapter plug combination did you go with. I currently have “hp-1008” filter and the greddy plate. I have the adapters from the gplus but the greddy quality more but it doesn’t match up with the threads of my filter.

Should my Greddy plate have came with both a M20x1.5 and 3/4 plate adapter plug cause I only got the 3/4 sent to me

Weird, in the link description it says it comes with the M20x1.5 as well, if all you have are the ones from the G-plus use it, I never had issues with them and I ran that adapter for a long time before I switched over to the Greedy stuff

@@MemosGarageAZ yeah I had issues with concept z so I used the part number to get it elsewhere. I contacted the seller cause it only came with the size I can’t use. I’m gonna wait for that cause I saw corrosion on the inside of the gpus plug and wait stainless steel. I got the mishimoto lines as recommended also , piecing it all together

Thats cool, i have the vr30 7AT in my 370z and also put in the LOJ plate. Did you ever tune/re-tune your car solely for the new transmission? Do you think there would be a benefit in that?

@@Mrgamer880 My old TCM had already been tuned by my Tuner (Admin Tuning), was tuned more aggressive and you can still feel that with the VR30 trans. I would say it's worth tuning for sure but it's not absolutely necessary.

When you installed your vr30 transmission. Did your bottom bolts line up? If not, what did you do in this situation?

@popclutch_100 Hello, no the bottom bolts don't line up, I left it like that and it's never been an issue, you have enough bolts that do lime up and it's enough to keep the transmission secure.

I tried FI flex plate and LOJ with Arp bolts and red loctite torqued to 95ft-lbs still came loose. I ended up adding the OEM metal bolts plate and tack weld the bolts😅 Hope it will hold 🤞

Hard to say man, first of all I doubt the electrical connections are the same. For a second let's just pretend they are, you still need hope the bell housing will fit the back of the vq35hr, let's say that it does, if you transfer your TCM over you'll only still have 5 gears. If I'm remembering correctly, the G35 AT is only a 5 speed right?

Hey man did you use all 3 hangers. I’m having trouble lining mine with the exhaust exit on my bumper and can’t get the last hanger closest to the exhaust exit to line up with the holes

Way back then it was about $1K from Admin Tuning, that included: the OBDII dongle, the USB cable, the License and the tune. Couldn't tell you what the going rate is now and days is, check his website and I'm he breaks it all down.

Hey I was just under my car and noticed my compressor has like build up oil underneath it as if it’s leaking but I haven’t had any issues with my coupe the ac or any noises. Any suggestions and or advice?

Hello, it's possible your compressor is leaking slowly and might be a.while before you start to see any of the effects, but it's also possible your valve cover gasket on that side is leaking and some.of that is getting on the compressor. Start by checking to see if it's your valve cover, if everything looks clean there, clean up the compressor and add dye to the AC system to check for leaks, look up videos on KZbin or you could take it into a service shop and they can do this for you. I sold it recently cause I moved on from cars to sport bikes but Now I’m thinking of getting a real Q50 RS 400HP/350 torque to have as a family car since I already have SUV

This video wasn't meant to be a full detailed DIY vid, I already did that once years ago on another header install video, so there was no point in doing that all over again. This time around I wanted to show a different process and the differences between shorty headers vs long tune headers and I'm satisfied I did this 100%.

Looks like I used some type of brake cleaner, but I should have used some kind of rust removing fluid, degreaser or at minimum dish wash soap diluted with water.

Hello, yes you'll need an extension since the 370z length is shorter than the G's and Q's. I believe you'll need a 3" extension, but don't quote me in that.
