As a Christian, I must love all people even my enemies and not harm those who harm me and forgive them 70 x 7 times (an infinite number). But my love for Jesus must also be above everyone else even my parents. Therefore, I do not recommend the idea of inter-faith marriage because it might bring troublea to both partners.

In Hinduism, the concept of caste has only been developed by the people, and not by any deity. So, in Hinduism, the outdated concept of only marrying someone of same caste and religion was created by the people, while these days, the people choose to change that rule in the Hindu Society.

Reform Judaism is a legitimate expression of Jewish identity that emphasizes values like justice, inclusion, and ethical living, all of which are core to Judaism. Disagreeing with its approach is fine, but saying it's 'not Judaism' denies the rich diversity within the Jewish tradition. Of course, it is debatable and dilutes the belief, but the people still consider them selves as Jews.

As a hindu it's quite accurate what you say about Hinduism. Just that intercast or interfaith marriages are not a new phenomenon to Hindus. Due to high numbers of International immigration since centuries Hindus had many encounters with spouses from other faiths.
@spinmaster06 күн бұрын
Islam - men can technically marry People of the Book but there are rules, conditions, and advice of the scholars. There is a lot to consider before doing so, future children being one of them. Love for God should be a priority above love for others and that means adhering to the rules of marriage. As for converting for the sake of marrying, this is not a sincere conversion and should be avoided.

Good point! Early Hinduism didn’t directly address interfaith marriage since other organized religions didn’t exist in the same way back then. However, cultural practices like marrying within one’s community or caste evolved over time. Today, many Hindus see these topics differently, and yes, it gets highly debatable.

You are talking about one country with buddhists right. But bro think about rest of the countries who are engaged in endless wars and terrorist activities, Are they buddhist. As most of my muslim friends say, religion is perfect but not people. So if u don't know in buddhism, even thinking of killing or hating enemies is considered as a sin. And to be more accurate, a real buddhist doesn't have any enemy his only enemy is his own mind when it is filled with negativethoughts. And the other thing is just a week ago, a group of miyanmmar refugees came to our country. And the people who rescued them and gave them foods and medicines were buddhists and hindus. I think Myanmar rebels who are fighting against their own government are also buddhists. And Myanmar is not the only country with this kind of situation. I heard that hindus are also fleeing from Bangladesh to Myanmar. So in any country there are good and bad people. Every person who was born as buddhist may not be peaceful. But buddhism is peaceful. This person is saying that he is proud of being a buddhist, because in buddhism marrying from another religion is not prohibitted. So he is proud of buddhism. Anyone can be proud of their religion. I normally do not reply to this kind of comments, but today i had some free time. May god (whoever u believe) bless u.@BilalKhan-cq6mn

Misconception about tattoo in Islam. It is indeed forbidden. But if one gets tattoos, they should repent but wudhu’ (ablution) is fine even with tattoos because tattoo ink is under the skin specifically the dermis layer. It is forbidden because the Prophet says so and it imitates the unbeliever not because ablution water cant penetrate the skin
@Beyonddoctrine4K10 күн бұрын
The common points raised by Muslim scholars about are : Body modification, Health Conern ( especially old times), cleanliness for prayer (includes wudu part) , Imitating Non-Belivers and Hadith Evidence (the curse on Tattoo practitioners) . But you're also right most concepts are ambiguous these days especially on the older concepts.

Not only "Islam" but tattoo is pretty much forbidden in every "Abrahamic" faith. However, in Islam some modern scholars say if tattoo is temporary it's not forbidden but if it's permanent it's a no-no. But drawing an animal or face that might imitate Allah's creation it's forbidden. So we can say tattoo is "Makrooh".

oh so why in hinduism did ram behea-ded a guy for being from lower caste of hinduism? does that not affect sentients of other beings? Ramayana of Valmiki, Uttara Kanda 7, Chapter 75-76:" ”O Rama, I was born of a Shudra alliance and I am performing this rigorous penance in order to acquire the status of a God in this body. I am not telling a lie, O Rama, I wish to attain the Celestial Region. Know that I am a Shudra and my name is Shambuka.” As he was yet speaking, Rama, drawing his brilliant and stainless sword from its scabbard, cut off his he-ad. The Shudra being slain, all the Gods and their leaders with Agni’s followers, cried out, ”Well done! Well done!” overwhelming Rama with praise, and a rain of celestial flowers of divine fragrance fell on all sides, scattered by Vayu.” doesn't look so peaceful...
@8o8823 күн бұрын
@@NotiBoii-c6l So, first I'd like to point out that in Hinduism itself, there are certain controversies around texts, this being a large one. However, for me, the largest reason why Rama killed him was because Shambuka was trying to get a boon to conquer heaven and rule over the gods. Also, when Rama did chop his head off, he attained moksha (salvation), so it is not as though he was condemned to anything after. Just as a final remark though, I do not agree with all Hindu texts (and even some Hindu texts contradict others), as there are no definitive texts, so there is a lot of room for discourse and discrepancy.
@Lol-s6v6l3 күн бұрын
@@NotiBoii-c6l Simple answer. "Uttara Kanda" never a part of Ramayana but a later addition. If you read actual scripture you may find very poor Sanskrit filled with mistakes in that part compared to previous parts which are more well written. Also in "uttar Kand" there are plently of mistakes and plotholes proving it was never wriiten by original author. Also the word "Uttar-Kand" means aftermath, which signifies what happens after the epic war and Sri Ram returned to Ayoddha. So it was definately a different author who had some other agenda
@Lol-s6v6l3 күн бұрын
@@NotiBoii-c6l Instead there are proves that Sri Ram was not only tolerant but view everyone equally. In "Aranya Kand" Sri Ram embraced Nishad Raj and even ate food at his home, and it was treated normally. So why the same person will do that, it doesn't make sense. "Shambhuka" never exists
