I was sad to hear what happened and I know how much care and attention you gave those fish unfortunately crap happens and it happens to most of us at some point you handled it really well but what’s this nonsense about putting the pond build to next year it’s happening I’m coming round tomorrow with my spray paint to mark it out if we’d done it sooner non of this would have happened so get the kettle on it’s happening

Gutted for you Vicky. I’m moving on a few decent size Japanese koi. Off top of my head there is Hi Utsuri, Aka Matsuba, Kohaku, Purachina and possibly Sanke. I will gladly donate them foc. I’m 10 minutes away from Wakefield koi. Let me know if you’re interested so I could send you photos. They are decent fish, would just like to see them go to a good home

Vicky, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your big koi 😢 Am so glad you didn’t lose them all so that’s a small blessing but I know how upsetting it is to lose any fish! Your smaller ones that survived will some day be your big ones 😊❤ I hope you continue with your plans for building your big garden pond and you can now take your time designing it and getting it just right.

Absolutely gutted for you love its not a nice thing to come out and find that kind of thing, I've not had it with a pond but I have lost my full tank of tropical fish by heater failing and boiling them all to death, and another thing never mind no big pond build you are having a pond, it just means we can take more time to get it perfect 👌
