Great video Vicky, ine are growing well approx 3 1/2 months of age now. Massive size difference, about 8 of them are still an inch, whereas the majority of them range from 3-4 inch un size 😊

Thank you, there is always some that grow slower than others. I have found each time you upgrade them to a new food type they seem to have another growth spurt. Thank you for watching xx

Always interesting how the wild types are the biggest and the gold,leucistic and albinos are smaller I have managed to rear axolotl babies from spawn laid outside in a fish tank with a colony of daphnia and they have developed solely on live daphnia although the mortality rate was high out of approx 300 eggs only ten made it through its down to whether they find small enough daphnia at the time of hatching which is mostly down to luck excellent video as always Vicky👍👍

Thank you. I often find no matter what animal it is the closer it is to its wild descendants the bigger and quicker they grow. It is all down to the size of the food when they are that tiny, everything just has to come together just at the right time. Thanks for watching xx

Thank you. I am looking for something in this spawn, the pair I have breed have some interesting bloodlines I am hoping to get and work with. The female (Gold Albino) is from a Mosaic line. The male (Leucistic) is from a very heavy dirty leucisistic line. So I'm hoping to get some Mosaic types to work with, fingers crossed. Thank you for watching xx

Great video, very informative! I am breeding Axolotls as well. How long do you recommend feeding 3 times a day (with brine shrimp)?

Thank you very much, I feed mine 3 times a day on baby brian shrimp and water change at least once a day, depending on how the water looks. Thank you for watching xx

@@NeoDina22 as for how long to feed them baby Brian shrimp, that depends on how fast they grow. Just when you think they are big enough to move on to a slightly bigger food xx

One more quick question… do you rinse the brine shrimp before you feed them to your Axolotls? Or would they be fine without a rinse?
