Wasn't Mudd just getting clear on Cyrano's definition of individual freedom? When somebody asks you your position on a question like that, it's vital to agree on definitions before answering. If someone asks me if I'm for democracy, I have to clarify that I'm for it as a method of choosing leaders but not as a method of setting policy. Also, loving the Taelon in the cell.

If you're going to set this in the mirror universe, it is a serious fallacy not to have Uhura's bare midriff on display. You should rethink your animation. It's only logical.

I'm not certain that this is a valid example of the "two wrong equals a right" fallacy. If the assertion "everyone does X" is, in fact, *true*, then it would indeed be valid to put forward this fact as support for you to also do X, regardless of legality / morality of the act. The argument is that the *actual* standards that apply to X are different that the official/published standards, and the official standards have not been updated. It *would be* this fallacy if, in fact, everyone doesn't do it. However, given that the certifications and missions accomplished information should be trivial to access / review, yet at least one other officer was promoted with similarly exaggerated accomplishments... Given the statements made, the conclusion is at least arguable. The question of "_Should_ the published standards be held to" is a separate question altogether.

The first starship flyby has I.S.S., but the later one had U.S.S. Perhaps the Empire can alter their external registry to fool adversaries? Like James Bond with his rotating License plates.

"USS" prefix is used by the United Federation of Planets which resides on the dimensional plane known as the Prime Universe. However, the insignia on the ship's hull, internal walls, crewmembers' uniforms, Mr. Spock's facial hair and Lieutenant Sulu's facial scar clearly indicate the ship belongs to the Terran Empire, which, as I am sure you are aware of, resides on another dimensional plane known as the Mirror Universe. Additionally, you have wasted your time making this video instead of doing an actual work, thus evading your responsibility. Therefore, you have committed an aforementioned logical fallacy commonly known as the "goof". It's only logical. ಠಿ_ಠ

@@CHDanhauser That may be so, however, need I remind you, in order for the deception to be effective, the Terran Empire emblem painted on the hull should also be removed from the view. As it is, it serves as a dead giveaway of the vessel's true nature. It's only logical. ಠಿ_ಠ

These guys are too blabby to be assigned to the I.S.S. Enterprise. I would think that anyone who was able to obtain such a prestigious position would be well trained in the methods of the Empire: "Only speak when spoken to, and keep all questionable thoughts to yourself." "It is only logical." It would have been great (and fitting) if it ended with Spock's hand coming to rest on Sulu's shoulder.
