Thank you so much. The simplicity is genius! This is exactly what I need. I kept putting off making a table saw sled because I have a good miter saw but it had obvious limitations. With your miter sled the limitations are gone ....

I have a very similar 2-stage setup but since I live out in the country, I sent the air hose to the outside instead of running it through filters. The end of of outside pipe has dryer flap that closes when not in use.

If I don't have a table saw, and am only doing a few "dados" (basically straight lines for 3 straight wood inlays) can I just clamp a couple straight edges and use those to guide my trim router? I'm wondering why everyone is building jigs for this, is it because you do a lot of this and long term it's time saving, rather than it being absolutely necessary from a functional perspective?

I really appreciate your videos for their emphasis on detail and precision and I have a question about your Sawstop Table saw since I plan to purchase one. From watching all of your videos, it appears that you have the 30" Professional Cabinet Saw with the Premium fence. This saw can also be purchased with a 36" T-glide fence, which looks identical to the Biesemeyer fence I have on my Delta contractor saw. Given the quality of your workmanship as displayed on your channel, I'm going to assume that the Premium fence is sufficiently accurate for all your cuts and that the 'whispers' I hear from the staff at the woodworking stores that the Premium fence is an inferior fence is just sales people being sales people; would you agree?

Just open the plastic blast gate and drill a 1/4inch hole in the back corner of the slide slot. It will push the dust out these holes. 1 minute fix.😅

You are going to love using the lock miter bit now. I’m surprised it’s not more popular than it is. In the wrong hands it can be intimidating to set up and most people have issues with the end grain and upright cuts, but if you know what you’re doing it’s incredibly useful.

Awesome design! Three questions: 1. What shop vac brand attachment did you use if I wanted to get the exact thing? 2. I've found that not all rare earth magnets are created equal. Some are terribly weak. What brand did you use? Can you provide link? 3. Have you thought about narrowing the original wide opening of the attachment itself as to increase the suction power at the blade notch -- or would that restrict air flow too much as to risk the shop vac motor burning out?
