I never noticed how many easter eggs were in this scene. • Candy being Sleeping Beauty because in the future she is LITERALLY the sleeping beauty • Blanca being Snow White A.K.A. the first Disney princess also signifying being Elektra’s first child • Electra being the evil queen who is the stepmother of Snow White showing that out of all the children that Elektra had she was closest to Blanca, and felt a literal motherly bond to her. • And it also being a reference to when we first see the house of abundance in the first season, because the first ball we see was a royalty themed ball and the first ball they compete in as a house was a fairytale/Disney princess themed ball

Angel being Red Riding Hood. Her future close relationship with Blanca (Snow White) could be a reference to "Snow White and Rose Red" Lulu was stuck at a high place as Rapunzel. Lamar goes from Huntsman -> Big Bad Wolf. He goes from side character in S1-2 to arguably Act 1 villain of S3.

My favorite part about this scene is the restraint of the costuming. The looks are overall much simpler than Elektra’s usual aesthetic, which is thematically perfect for her family debut. This would grow into that oppulent opening scene from the first episode, showing a perfect evolution.
