For context to those who havent seen the show (go watch it) the members in black represent a member of the original gay mens chorus who died of aids. In an earlier scene, there were two men in white shirts, but there arent any left. The men in black are facing the wall in respect of those who died. The man the camera zooms in on at the end of the clip dated a man with aids who died, who he is now representing with a black shirt :(

i just finished pose on hulu 2 days ago and this is a top 3 series of mine, it was so good. i laughed and cried and this song is one of those moments where i cried, i had to come back to this because this song is just so beautifully sung :’) highly recommend this show. i’m only 18 so i also enjoyed asking my mom about how it was to live in this time where AIDS was a death sentence. i learned a lot through this show as well
