Great movie ! Standing the test of time to. Peter’s talk here transcends the movie in regards to problem solving. Bit@#$ing about the problem and to each other solves nothing. Getting personal solves nothing and the problem is still there..and lots of money at stake…The common goal here was to bring the movie in.. Work it out ( they did) Solve the problem…

The exact same director and music soundtrack as 1957's The Vampire, with John Beal. My 2 favorites of the 50's.

Very bad idea to see Weller at fan expos. He told us off in the audience for photographing him on stage. Rude.

I just watched a couple scenes of Robocop dubbed in Italian, and the guy does not sound exactly like Peter Weller. They did a decent job but it's not exact. Peter Weller has a unique voice. AI can change all of this.

I cannot believe that YK is not a real guitarist. On stage in the film, he pulls it off so convincingly! He looks exactly like Eddie Van Halen rocking out hardcore.

Watching Robocop right now. How he does the mechanical motions is awesome. This movie came out when i was a yr old and its still one of my favorite movies, even the sequels. I watch it at least once a yr, along with the Alien franchise, terminater, and star wars. I first sarted watching Leviathan, never seen it before. Then i seen Peter Weller was in it and i had to watch Robocop. Still can't get over Red Foreman being the main bad guy lol.

Xtro was brutal when i first saw it as an impressionable 13 year old - i remember it well at the time and even now there are some scenes which are still wince inducing.. surprisingly it has a 15 certificate in the UK now...i dont understand how the bbfc work sometimes 🤔

I don’t know. For me this was just another dumb action movie. Ok, the robot was still human in a sense, recalling certain events in his past, but this was a simple idea and not one profound. Weller was not a very successful actor and it seems to me that he’s trying to hype this movie up in order to give himself more artistic status.

I saw this movie in the theater with my girlfriend when we were in high-school and was blown away by the story, WAY ahead of it's time. I put in in the top 3 Carpenter films along with The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China which I also saw in the movie theater.

I never thought Robocop as a monster, but hearing this, he indeed acts like a classic monster that's on the side of law. The slow movement is intimidating and suggests he's powerful.

@@SuperHns well yeah it'd have to be a light wieght green foam suit with the robo effect cgi-ed in. petter weller is an old man now himself i doubt he';d have the physicality to put the old original robo suit back on. all the behind the scenes stuff i've seen on it suggest that it was areal MFer to move in. even the lighter Robocop 2 suit was still a heavy work out after a couple hours. hell seen a damn amazing cosplayer do a 3d printed robo suit and while not nearly as heavy as the suits in RC 1 and RC2 , thet guy said he had built up a good sweat after just 30 mintues in it.
