mhm, this video shows something much earlier than I was expecting from Ocieros People were making it seem the baby was cut last second, it's clearly part of a large intentional overhaul of the boss or story In fact, I feel rather confident in saying it was the introduction of the Nameless King Large human with a connection to dragons, and arguably one of the most powerful characters in the game? Sounds an awful lot like what Ocieros was aiming for. He uses lightning attacks, which as a direct descendant of Gwyn, also makes sense. Gwyn only doesn't wield sunlight since he's a lord of cinder when we meet him, but Nameless isn't a LoC so doesn't face that restriction. Similarly, Lothric and Lothrian both are Lords of Cinder, and therefor cannot wield lightning either. He's also referred to as a king. King of what exactly? Well, you have to kill Oceiros in order to access arch-dragon peak. His death should result in someone else being named king, and we know that the twin princes don't inherit that title. But also, let's say that again - you have to beat Oceiros in order to access nameless king. He's a direct part of that side story. You cannot face nameless king without also facing Oceiros and learning this lore. I must be utterly bonkers, because I don't see this theory anywhere, but it seems obvious from both the game design and information we're given.

Don't get me wrong I'm really happy to see a new upload and greatly appreciate your work, but I desperately need an answer to one of your earlier videos hinting at a connection between the lecture hall and the unopenable byrgenwerth ladder door. It's been bugging me for years. :( It seems hard to believe the ladder leads to the lecture hall, apart from there not being a corrisponding entrance in the lecture hall, the lecture hall has windows, and it makes no sense for an underground structure to have windows. I always wondered if maybe the lecture hall previously stood in the waking world where rom is in the present. It would explain why the bridge just drops off and perhaps. why the lecture hall is physically close to it in world coordinates. The doors to the lecture hall are also about the same width as the bridge. See how obsessed I am? I need to know :(

Oceiros actually still has that walk animation in the game. It's a bit glitchy and I could only get it to activate a few times, and always only after I died in phase 2. It kinda looks unfinised, there's no direct leadup to the walk, it kinda just popped on the boss as soon as it lost aggro before the you died screen goes black. And while the baby cries are there, I couldn't hear if the walking sound was also left in it accidentally since this only happened like 3 times.

I rarely have a crush on a video game character or any character or any human at all for that matter. I played through to the cleric beast and couldn't beat it (friends game) but the obvious depth and psychology of the doll immediately grabbed and has held my attention even years later as a very unique character.... ....and ofcourse the one time i let myself show interest in a fully clothed feminine subtle seemingly classy person She is a s3x doll......great....my mind is a dumpster fire Even video game women cant be clean. Nice, I can finally see what's going on in the fights and not get physically sick as well! The 30FPS lock is an absolute torture, especially if you play something like Elden Ring for awhile, and then you switch to this game. It's like going from PS5 to PS2.

A lot of work for something that wasn't supposed to be seen for most than a couple of minutes that Konami proceeded to throw in the trash. It all sadly ended up going to waste because Konami decided to be A holes. I do wonder if they had, at some point, intended this area to be exploreable had a second demo been made instead of the game getting canceled.

Having an eerie muddy lake deep underground perfectly typifies the unsettling wonder of the Ptumerians and the Chalice dungeons. Gives me a very Underdark vibe.
