Hello everything is fine? I'm an affiliate. Is it possible to add this code to the head field of my presell? The buttons on my page have my affiliate links plugged into them. I'm using the link redirector (bit ly). Can the code you passed still capture gclid? Thank you for the video.

Hi John, This is Md. Monirul Islam. I always follow your YT tutorials and your useful posts on LinkedIn. Thanks for your efforts. Question to know: 1. You have added user data in page view event. But it will get it only if user make a purchase or submit a lead form. Otherwise page view event won't get user data. In that case, this event might show warning like missing email, phone in advanced matching section in event manager. Because whenever user land on a page, a page view event will fire But won't get user data unless make purchase or lead. Thanks, Monir

Hi Monir, yes, that is true. You can ignore those warnings, because as you mentioned, the first user's page view don't have a login, sign up or a checkout, also it is possible user won't provide consent for user data storage or handling of that data

I did same steps. but i'm blocked in the 6 min 46s. the status still Pending for 10 hours. my site is not working and the issue is the SSL certificate in Gougle Cloud. Can you please tell if i need a VM instance to fix that ? just to mention that the domaine from namecheap hosted in HOSTINGER. I ADDED THE RECORD A IN HOSTINGER

The warning in this section 8:40 is not an error. It is written in Google documents. In fact, it is a whole like Email, Phone, Address (name, surname, postal code, country, street, city, region). Therefore, it is assumed that you have defined an address while defining a name and surname. You need to fill in all the necessary fields to complete.

If you mean CMP with Consent Management Platform with CMP, you have to get the following consent to handle the user data: For ads: ad_storage, ad_personalization, ad_user_data. The cookie storage is recommended when you want to send the conversions in a website session where the user provided data is not available, e.g. you capture the email in a sign up action and then you send an enhanced conversion with a purchase that happened 5 minutes later in the checkout. @@AnalyticSengine Actually, I am just collecting potential customer forms. I am sending Email and Phone via User-Provided Data variable and tag for enhanced conversions. Also, CookieYes CMP is installed in Client Side GTM. I have installed Ads Conversions on SSGTM side. CookieYes is currently managing all consent options. My question was this: In the example in the video, you are doing operations such as creating a cookie, adding it as a first party variable. Do I need to do these in my scenario?

@@seotudiodigital Not necessarily. If you can send the Email and Phone values correctly with the conversion tag, you are good to go. The session cookies storage is a recommended setup so you can enhance your conversion anytime during the session as each page refresh would erase data layer or other type of variables that are not stored. Just make sure your tag is sending the email and phone properly during a debug session.

Hello. I have a confusion regarding user data. You are already sending user data with Google Ads conversion tracking tag using user-data variable. Is it also necessary to create Google ads user data event tag to send user data using same user-data variable? Because we already sending it. Should we send it twice? I thought sending user data with Google Ads conversion tracking tag is enough.

Yes, it just enough to send the Google Ads conversion with the user-data variable. The Google Ads User Provided is used a requirement for Offline Conversions using the Email or Phone instead the GCLID, I shared because a Lead Generation project can benefit a lot for Oflline Conversion tracking so you can track if the leads you are sending to your funnel actually buy or convert. Hello, thank you for the great video. At the end of your video, where you set the campaign_source parameter inside the Ga4_config tag and set the value to ... it is at this part I got lost, because you end the video soon after. I was not able to see how you might test for this. I could not see the 1st party cookies in GTM debug mode being passed from one page to the next in the variables section. As soon as I click on a new page when doing the GTM debug, the UTM string in the URL was lost and all my UTM variables went back to "undefined" when looking in the variables tab. I'm I correct is saying this is normal and I must just look in GA4 rather and filter by the UTM name to see how the 1st party cookie tracked the rest of the user session and user behavior? Or should I be able to see the UTM data being passed through to all the other pages when testing inside GTM debug mode? Thanks so much, your video was super helpful.
