Can you explain why you put the shore power inlet on the PASSENGER side? I've seen on KZbin a shore power inlet install on the PASSENGER side that interfered with operation of the sliding door. Also, every campsite electrical pedestal I've ever seen is on the DRIVER side when you back into a campsite.

You don't know how good you've got it! Roaming those vast lands, unbothered. Lighting campfires, enjoying nature. You couldn't do that in Germany, where I live. Oh, how I wish I lived in the land of the free! On the other hand: Trump. Well, maybe another time.

Fantastic video. From India! Plan on adding a solar panel to keep my battery going (does it go flat often, and I replace it once a year as a result.) QUESTION - how do I keep a panel from overcharging my primary? Or is it just a better idea to go with a lithium secondary with a switchover of some sort to jump with the secondary? I dread getting stuck somewhere remote. 3-door jeep-clone owner.

i would say something but this was 3 years ago. so i well say love the van. Great all American/Canadian road trip van. does not need allot of fancy, just basic and a sleeping area. the only thing i would do to it is try to put in an automatic transmission.

Hi Guys. Great install. I have used the Pylontech on residential applications, I don't think they will last long on the vibrating road. Please comment us if you think they will and why. Great videos, keep them coming.

Unfortunately flexible solar panels are good for one year or two. Checked myself.
@volleyballDave Жыл бұрын
Regular flexible solar panels don’t seem to last long. To get form fitting flexible panels that last… you have to buy what’s called “military grade” solar panels.
@whydontyouaskme11 ай бұрын
I won’t tell you what they’re made of because of your ignorance. But there are solar panels that can take a real beating, like sledge hammer type ish but I’ll give you a hint bougerv makes some that go on 4x4’s that could roll onto it’s roof time to time.

For the Astro rivnut setter have you tried the cheaper guns to compare, they don’t have that extra air chamber that the Astro has so not sure if that’s better. Does it set plus nuts well or end up breaking mandrels a lot?
